We set up this teaser in celebration of Anders’ 2nd anniversary! This the first ever look at one of the cutscenes in motion, and the wonderful song ‘Diminished’ which has been revamped heavily from its original version for this update.

  15. I love how Anders is very clearly aware that singing with bf is risky and is talking about stopping him yet he proceeds to sing with him anyway

    of course he'll probably try to shoot us when the mod's actually done but i just find that really funny

After several years of not touching FNF due to losing interest, this appears on my recommended… I remember being excited about this because of how much I enjoyed the original mod, but watching this and Pentafluoride I'm just like… why does it feel so "generic" compared to the original? I swear I have reasons to think this way, I wish to rant for a little.

    His animations… the artwork is technically superior, but it feels like it lost the punch of the original ones. He's just standing there and moving his gun instead of bouncing around dynamically as the original did. How still he is in the animations especially clashes with the cutscene prior, too. The animations for psychoneurotic in the original were even more bouncy with this tint of anger so I hope they weren't massacred in the same way. Artwise I'm not that into how Anders' torso was nerfed, he looks less buff which only makes him look less physically imposing.

    The voice, again, is technically superior because it's not just a metal clang sound, same with boyfriend being a single beep, but Anders' original voice accentuated the menacing aura he had around him in the original, now it resembles so many characters (remastered agoti and Terminated guy from friday night site are the ones I still remember) it's not menacing at all. I also hate the BF voice everyone uses because of dull it sounds and I miss the times when everyone used their custom soundfont to fit the song, so seeing it added here made me roll my eyes, but that's more of a personal thing.

    And finally, the music, really, what happened to it? They sound like chill… generic… fnf hiphop now, I don't know how to describe it. There would be nothing wrong with that if not that it just takes away what made the original songs stick out to me: The focus on the percussion, piano, and orchestral strings from the original made the songs very tense and secret agent-like, but here they were replaced by chill trap beats which don't fit the situation the two are on at all, the duets only make it worse because the more rigid structure from the originals made it sound cold and calculated, add the drops on top to signal when Anders loses his chill and they just fit the scenes so much better.

    There's nothing "wrong" per se, as I repeatedly keep saying this is technically superior. The musicians did nothing wrong and neither did you do a bad job animating and making the art for Anders, but I feel the dark, menacing vibe from the original that got me hooked to begin with was lost.

    And the lore and plot is FUNKIN BEST AND LEGENDARY!
