Made this cause I wanted to post something finally, lol.

I called it Submerged because of course I did.
Also, this takes place in Tidal Tempest instead, and there’s good reason for that 😉

    Also is the ending saying that majin was/ used to be drowning sonic or did majin save who later be known as unused?

    Ok so, here is mine interpretation of the lore based on the info we have

    So, after Xanthus took over Sonic's body, he probably created a replica of it to use as a vessel. He trapped Sonic himself chained up in a temple where nobody would find him. However, Sonic found the mask which turned him into Majin. So, in Undying Phoenix Majin Sonic is Sonic.

    In case you guys are confused by the ending, this is Majin's backstory. Well, this is Nominal's Majin's backstory.

    Nominal(acting as Majin) talked about it in a Sonic 3 stream.

    This is what he said.
    "At some point i died, right? I drowned. It was in Labyrinth Zone, i remember really clearly and it took a while for me to get over- like i'm better now, but i had a lot of PTSD after- after i drowned in Labyrinth Zone. And i was stuck down there like it wasn't just like oh i drowned and that's it. No, i was stuck down there and i was- i was- i was fighting for my life. And um…and uhh- li- like out of nowhere i saw this weird mask, right? And i saw a mask and it came down and uhh i grew- like out of instinct i just- i grabbed it and i put it on and i was just teleported to this weird place. A place that i decided to call Left Field. It's not- it's that place with like the blue clouds, the black trees and the um- the gray grass, that's what it wa- that's what it is. That place. And then…so yeah i- i- i was given a second chance at life, i thought it was pretty interesting. And then more Sonics from other universes started getting masks uhh and we all ended up meeting each other. It was pretty cool! It was pretty awesome, honestly! Pretty nice! We became kinda like a family if y'know- if you think about it."

    Then he responds to a comment in chat.
    "Yes, real Majin lore. This version of Majin atleast."

    But that just brings more questions.
    Is there like a cult of Majin people like the Majins we see begind the trees in the original Sonic.Exe mod?
    Is there something like the Spider Society in the Spider-Verse movies but instead of Spider-Man it's Majin?
    We might never know.

    But that's about it for now.
    I love me some delicious LOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEEE and i can't wait to see what you have prepared next, Nominal.

  13. Considering how the ending implies that this is an origin to Majin, it makes him getting thrown into the waters of Labyrinth Zone by Unused that much more interesting in retrospect. It also explains why he was so casual in that situation, only seeming mildly peeved off and even serving up some sweet tunes on the trumpet in the meantime – he was in this situation before!
