I think this song could have a mechanic of "impostor notes". Some of them will look normal, but will have a purple aura. If you would hit those notes with that "aura" thingy, greed would make a little jumpscare (kinda like screech if you don't look at him) and take a bit of your health
I think this should have some items but greed will show is face and purple light if you miss the notes Greed attacks you
