Friday Night Funkin’ is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn’t approve of him. It’s up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Yo, I recognize this, this scene is from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon!
There's a point in the beginning of Red/Blue Rescue Team (along with the remake, Rescue Team DX) where you're tasked to save a Diglett who's gotten stuck on a cliff because of a mysterious Pokémon who is revealed to be Skarmory. This mod is based off of that scene, and it's got everything down to a T, location and all!
This means that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is finally getting the FNF treatment! Honestly, it's about time.
(Also, I love how Boyfriend is a Pikachu while Girlfriend is an Eevee, which is not only cute, but is also a pairing that can be legitimately used in the base game, since both are different types!)
(Also again, I just love the PMD series and just had to geek out about it the moment I saw this video.)

i really like this mod but i feel like the song is missing something, it doesnt hit as hard as i think it should, some of the notes sound a bit awkward but otherwise i think its really cool
With this style, BF looks very reminiscent of the chubby pikachu sprite from the older games and I love it
Due to everyone saying “Why Skarmory?” it’s due to a scene in a Game named Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue/Blue Rescue Team where you and your partner gotta save a Diglet in Mt. Steel, and have to battle a Skarmory to get there, though it’s still odd for Skarmory since they appeared only once.
