CGC makes so much money and they know ppl will pay, well not me. Im going with a company that puts their customers 1st.
The timing stinks for me personally. I been getting books ready for modern tier and holding off on my standard tier subs but it’s gonna cost me an extra 120 after this. I don’t feel like rushing and screwing up something. I wouldn’t mind if we got better service but I’m skeptical.
You make some good points… demand has gone up – which has caused longer wait times, poor quality control, poor customer service, etc. By raising the price less people will submit books, which will alleviate the poor performance of CGC. It's probably the best thing for CGC and customers. This will speed up grading, quality, and delivery times. It will allow more hires too (as CGC will have more revenue per book).It's probably the only way to get wait times under 6 months to a year – especially in this crazy time of comic books. I am a CBCS type of guy FYI.
Good discussion topic, as busy you are working on your content etc, have you ever considered doing a podcast, I think you would be really good at that also 😎
