if you go back to the deactivated cube there are three little dice two of them are colours of previous cubes except for the red one, could be hinting towards a new cube perhaps

I think the pieces of paper with the M on them could be a reference to the Majin characters from Dragonball Z
If you look at both of them they look very similar.
