I have a theory about why he switched teams. So I thought about this theory and i will explain it. It seems like as if the corrupted is playing the last scenes seen from the show, as this is a reference on how he left death pact to go where the "fun" is or, this may be a clue that the corrupted characters is having control of themselves.
