According to the description of that video. What happened to Pico was called the Corruption’s “Nexus Form”. A last ditch effort that mutates and hardens the Corruption the host’s body, however this does negate their ability to infect others. Making their goal no longer to infect others, but to simply kill.

If you don't understand wjat happened to Evil Pico he has transformed into his Nexus form which is a last resort a corrupted person can use while granting him new abilities it comes at the cost of losing thier power to infect people so thier only objective is elimination.
