Yo, if you dont understand the xtale story line you should watch the series Watch the xtale series(just search xtale.) And watch underverse. You'll understand what the story means when you watch all of it, btw its hours upon hours of footage.
At the start of the gaster fight he pretty much says how boyfriend can understand him and that the person “behind the screen” is a loser for translating it. At the end he says he’s embarrassed he lost and to get out of his sight.

Why x gaster is like flying ( corrupted legs or something idk ) is because in the x event strory he uses to much overwrite( kinda like reset ) that makes him melt, making him need the bandage like on his body so he doesnt split apart
