Friday Night Funkin’ is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io.

The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn’t approve of him. It’s up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Homestuck is an Internet fiction series created by American author and artist Andrew Hussie. The fourth and best-known of Hussie’s four MS Paint Adventures, it originally ran from April 13, 2009 to April 13, 2016. Though normally described as a webcomic, and partly constituted by a series of single panel pages, Homestuck also relied heavily on Flash animations and instant message logs to convey its story, along with occasional use of browser games.

Its plot centers on a group of teens who trigger the inevitable destruction of Earth by installing the beta version of an upcoming computer game, Sburb. The teens soon come into contact with a group of Internet trolls who are revealed to be horned aliens, and these trolls work with the kids to create a new universe by completing the game. It has been noted for its complex and nonlinear plot, considerable length at over 8,000 pages and 1,200,000 words, and intensely devoted fan community.

    also the perseverance reference at 3:10 sounded SICK!!!!! sick like dave strider’s BEATS!!!!!!!!!

    you can hear the fear in dave’s voice, afraid, but still willing to stand up against his “brother’s” abuse once and for all, which, dave has been dealing with since fucking childhood.
    and for dirk, you can literally feel the corruption in his voice. his morals, twisted by caliborn’s influence through lil cal…from his very birth. his emotionless stare gives me chills, im not lying.
    and for cal, he’s just sitting there, doing his thing and being creepy. he stands out way more because of how the song was made, melancholic and badass. congrats to the composers for making the song sound like dave’s, dirk’s, and lil cal’s theme.

    this song does a great job at portraying what it felt like to watch the original [S] and add way more onto it, especially in the emotions factor.
    this really captured homestucks charm.
    i also loved all the transitions, just adding a cherry on top to all the tension, and the intense atmosphere around it. the melancholy is AMAZING!!! i can not state how fucking awesome this song is.
