Tails is a yellow anthropomorphic fox with yellow fur, three head tufts, a white furry torso and muzzle, and wearing red shoes and white gloves. He also has his iconic twin tails on his back. His expression is noticeably sad with a tear on his eye.
In Octane, he changes into an image of his appearance in Sonic Mania Adventures where he choked or was grossed out by a chili dog. He is in a sitting position with shocked eyes and a chili dog on his hand. In his poses, he spits out some bits of his chili dog.
