I love my Series X, but there are a lot of little things you’ll notice especially if you’re used to playing on a PS4. This is my detailed review of my experience with the Series X since launch day. It’s very unlikely to happen, but I would love for someone at Microsoft to see this in order to improve an already great new console. Also, I don’t typically do videos like this on Youtube, but gaming is a topic close to my heart, and I felt like sharing all of these details with the world as I personally was surprised by many of them. If you have any questions, feedback, or just want to say hi please do share in the comments below!

  1. Muting the TV manually after connecting the headphones is an advantage in my opinion. for example, when I play Warzone, I definitely need headphones. however, when a friend watches me play, he would have no experience of the game if he had not heard the sound 😉👍

  2. Coming from the XBox side, they kept the batteries in the controller so you can switch them on the fly. For some people this is preferred. If you are using the Play and Charge kit, there's an LED on the USB cable that should turn on when you plug the controller in. It is amber to indicate it's charging and white when it is done. Also, if you want to turn your system off completely instead of just putting it in standby, you can press and hold the power button for like 10 seconds on the system. I hope that helps you.

  4. I like the fact that it requires AAs. That way, it gives you the option. With a PS5 controller goes, that’s it. At least with the Xbox controller you have the option to put in a rechargeable battery, also if you forget to charge your rechargeable battery, you can still always use AAs as a back up. I’d much rather prefer that to something that didn’t give me any choice

  5. Me and You are a lot alike we both have every System except PS5! But we’re coming from PS4 I never owned the OG Xbox but the fact I can still play there games is Awesome meaning I have not missed anything! Gamepass is a Great Deal since most Games I bought on PSN is Free either with Gamepass or EA Play through GP. I never have to worry about giving EA Money ever again! But also people seem to Fanboy on certain companies which really makes no sense. When you can have the Best of Both worlds. A True Gamer would want to play any and everything that Gaming is available on… Even got into PC Gaming Now I don’t use the Keyboard because no I’m good. But I can still use my Controller and or Mouse for aiming. There’s no time in this world worth Being One Sided! Nice to see more of us out there!

  6. the box light is a real non issue and as to the batteries, well when a PS controllers rechargeable battery dies its my understanding its a pain in the arse to change.with AA batteries, its easy. I just cycle two rechargable sets.

  7. I really wish I never bought PS4, and I wont buy Sony ever again…. anything Sony at all. I reinvested in PC upgrades and I doubt I'll buy a console again, BUT if I do it'll be an Xbox. I just think Sony have turned in to a really scummy company.

  8. I am currently a PS4 owner and i am planning to get the Series X next year because there are still many games that I want to play on my Ps4. As I am in college now , i want to spend as low as possible on videogames but still wanna play some new games here and there. I think GamePass will help me do this. I”ll get a Ps5 when most of the big AAA exclusives are available.
Thank you for making this video 🙏🏼🙏🏼

  9. The worst thing about consoles is the price off the games on the store, Bf5 brand new on psn and xbox is £20 yet you can get the same game new from a shop for £2. If they made the price off the old games a lot cheaper I'd buy them like I do on steam but there just a rip off.

  10. Series X is a great Console, but lack of Exclusive at Launch made me go with PS5. And I owned a XBOX One X and PS4 Pro. I was able to sell my PS4 Pro but keep all my PS4 Games and run on PS5. Had there been more exclusive games I might have gone with Series X.

  11. I got the xbox series s due to lack of availability of the x . Other then the quick resume feature it doesn't feel next gen to me especially considering that I still own a xbox one x. But maybe a year or so down the line I will get the series x.

  12. A few points worth mentioning that don’t get talk about as much on most reviews:

Xbox series X supports 1440p resolution. So for those who will be upgrading their console AND Tv, then you can save some cash by buying a cheap 1440p 144hz monitors instead of an expensive tv that supports 120 FPS

Additionally, Series X supports Xbox One controllers so you can save on controller costs if your are coming from an XBone

Also I hope they improve the quick resume feature soon. It’s so inconsistent right now but then again load screens are so fast it doesn’t matter that much. I hope in the future we can choose which games we want to quick resume
