The Eric Martin callbacks were amazing.
The viking dice made me think of "liar's dice" from Pirates of the Caribbean, which I found out they actually advertised and sold years after my siblings and I had stolen all the monopoly and risk dice so we could do our best Davy Jones impressions while calling each other liars.
As someone who played their first final fantasy game in 2019 (IX, if you're curious), the thought of trying to figure out one of those ingame card games well enough to play with other people is kinda terrifying. I was way better at the card minigame in last December's Shovel Knight King of Cards… I actually think I spent more time playing the card game than actually platforming in that game.
Matthew, you do know ubisoft also has "Ghost of Tsushima". It is not AC, but it is set in Japan.

I've got the original version of Iki! Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah.
I'm not a huge fan of FInal Fantasy X, but the blitzball was the best mini-game of the entire Final Fantasy franchise, period. I even still remember the music played during the matches.
I believe there were some other Kickstarter containers on board the ONE Apus, but I'm having trouble finding a list of all the potentially affected companies. Asmadi, Arcade1Up…
