  1. Wow, almost cried for a sec realizing how long ago those first videos were. Been watching since the beginning and definitely 10 years well done and such an amazing achievement. Kudos!

  2. I'd lik.e to point out the single flaw of the grandfather theory.
Say you went back in time to kill your ancestor. Well, say they also happened to look like you (similar to how most movies and video games that involve the grandfather theory go) then, just like the princess, you were to take their place. You know all the major thing they did, so all you have to do is do it in their stead, thus preserving the timeline and you don't have to blip from existance. The one problem with that is that each time it happens (which it'll happen an infinite amount of times) it will create another timeline in which you (your kid, also (eww)) goes back in time and does it each time a little differently.

  3. Alright, Mat, I've thought of a theory for Subnautica that you need to adress.
In Subnautica, you're the only survivor of a crashed ship called "The Aurora", stranded on planet 4546B. Or atleast, that's what they want us to belive.
When you board the Aurora, you can find the Black box room, which gives lots of information about the crash. In this data download, it says ""Lifepods 1-25 successfully launched."
In the game, there are only nine lifepods in the crater that you landed in. (You landed inside a volcanic crater, which has been dormant for millions of years.)
The prequel/dlc, Subnautica:Below Zero takes place near the equator, which is frozen over.
Moving back to the 25 lifepods that were launcehd, there are only 9 in the crater.
In Below Zero, you can find metal salvage, which only comes from crashed ships.
This means that the other 16 lifepods had to have had landed in the dead zone, also known as the crater edge, under where the Aurora landed (those unlucky blokes), or . The chances of us being the only living survivors on planet 4546B are extremely low, but they are there.
The ability to live off of nothing at the equator is shown by Marguerit Maida, the only remaining survivor of the Degasi crew. She built a base in a cave near the Lilypad Islands.
She was last seen by Paul Torgal on the back of a reaper leviathan and dragged off into the darkness in the original Subnautica. She has survived for almost two years with no social interaction, living off of the land.
We are not the only Aurora survivors on this planet. There are others out there, living with shadow leviathans, snow reapers, and pengwings. They might not be able to fix the radio and call for help like the eight other lifepods in the crater (we are the ninth lifepod), but they are aout there.
I hope you do a theory episode on this, because I believe it needs to be addressed. Thank you.
