  2. I got the whole GM2 bundle from last sale. I just hope to keep the permanent license I got so I can work. If a Humble Bundle appears then yeah, missed opportunity, but I loved when they shared other games sources to learn from them.

Anyway, these are good news, more options for more games

  3. I agree with video 100%. If they have free competitors they have to adjust. There was free version of GMS before but they changed it and it's a shame bcs they are loosing people for other engines 🙁

  4. It's funny how everybody generally complains about GM price, yet i've bought base edition for about 15 bucks instead of 100, due to regional pricing in Steam, and sale on top of that.

At least some pros of living in not-that-rich country)

  5. Wasn't the new xbox generation already supported via UWP? It doesn't uses 100% of the system's resources, but you don't need ultra advanced raytracing on a 2d focused engine.

  6. I have a gamemaker license for pc. I didn’t want to pay a whole lot for something I might not use in the end. But now I’m interested in checking it out again

  7. The only reason I got the first version of game maker was because it was in an ancient Humble Bundle (I think this was when I first found your channel actually) Then game maker 2 came out and I saw the pricing and I was like "no thanks" and forgot about it. Every once in a while, I do see it on Steam, but otherwise I never think about it.
Honestly, I think the only way to go is to compete with the likes of Unreal and Unity. Make it free… every part of it, including the console stuff, and take a cut of the profits.
I just hope… and I mean I REALLY hope that game maker does NOT get its own market place. I have too many of those on my PC now.

  8. Oh by reading the title, I thought that the PS5 and Xbox X were going to embed gamemaker inside of their consoles so that us indie developers could make games directly on PS5 and Xbox's hardware as consoles did back in the Atari and Commodore 64 days. Gosh, I wish!

  9. I bee using GMS for several years, and since GMS2 they have made major changes that brings the whole look and operation to a greater designed and thought out product.. BUT I really wish they'd lower the mobile exporters down.. As for the price of the console exporters – they just crazy price! Think they should drop all pricing and have a small commission if game made goes on to do really well..

  10. I don't know why people use GameMaker and engine like that and waste their money. There are more open, free and advance engines to choose from and also they officially support 3D.
