GENSHIN IMPACT DRAMA PART 2 | WHY PLAYERS ARE LEAVING (IT'S OKAY TO BE FRUSTRATED)

This is a continuation of my video from yesterday. I hope this can clear up the air amongst the Genshin Impact community. I know players are bored and some are just looking to start things for “content”. Others are frustrated because they love this game and see its potential. 1. This will be the last I talk about this issue, I hope these 2 videos covered most of the viewpoints from both side. I know things are rough right now but let's keep our chins up and stay hopeful. I'm here grinding it out both on YouTube and in Genshin Impact. So come hang out either in my discord or during my streams where I can talk more on this. Let me know down below what kind of videos you would all like to watch.

  2. Nah this will never work, I made a comment on a forum and told people that we should respect each other within the community, to respect mihoyo's decision and still be against mihoyo. That we should be reasonable with our complaints but they just kicked me to oblivion and beyond. They told me mihoyo don't deserve respect and that they're greedy, "you're a white knight, stop licking mihoyo's boots". I'm just trying to be respectful. I don't like mihoyo either, I just want a good relationship between the company and the community. Respect begets respect, that's all I want.

  3. Honestly when mihoyo makes this game, who is their target audience. Like i feel they try to target broad audience with their characters. Like they have male adult characters, adolescents, female adults and adolescents, cute loli characters. And they even released it almost worldwide and have variety of dub, and sub. So in my opinion, they have big vision for this game unlike Honkai Impact that have female characters and i think attract more male players than female. I really have no understanding how they got shocked when the intention succeeds and if that’s their reason. From all the profit they get, it should be enough for them to slowly expand. And one think that i dislike about them is they way they never explain about the problem in the game, like their security system. It makes players anxious and all the videos about it spreading around. Lots of people just need explanations. (Sorry for my bad English)

  4. Those who says, mobile phone that halt the advance of the games, clearly have no idea, don't underestimate the power of normal handphone capabilities currently, heck it might even surpass some of the pc that people currently have, I won't speak in details cause it's common knowledge plus in the future, who need pc to play games anyway when you have hp, that why more and more game developers one of the reasons to go to mobile currently . I rest my case

  5. 1. Resin system needs to be improved speed increase of the regen speed/cost of domains/bosses
    2. 160 gems/1 wish a day we should be able to grind for 30 base wishes a month without events or abyss or reduce the cost of wishes
    3. The drop rates in general needs to be improved/artifact drops have the worse RNG in history they NEED to fix the HP and DEF ratio it shouldn't take me 6 months to find a single good piece.
    4. Gacha can be improved by reducing hard pity to 70 and soft pity to 50/or reduce the cost of wishes sated above.
I could go on but i would be here all day. One last thing maybe drop more weapons then 1 to F2P nobody is asking for everything to be free but 90% of the weapons/character are locked out by a paywall. Genshin is not a Gacha game it's a open world game/RPG with gacha slapped on it for greed.

  6. Comments like "Mihoyo don't owe you anything, take it or leave it" are more regarding people / comments, who're demanding unreasonable things or things Mihoyo obviously things it's okay.

If people, for example, demand 2fa, that's reasonable. Account-Hacks are a thing and there are many accounts with lots of money in it. I would agree that Mihoyo really owe's us that.

But there are also people, especially f2p, who pretent Mihoyo owe's us more resin, more primogems and more rewards. And from my perspective it's these people who're getting a "Mihoyo don't owe you anything".

I also don't get why content creator's complain about not enough content.
If I look around, I see content creator's with hundrets of hours content. Just in the past 6 month. And that doesn't even include their hour-long livestreams, multiple 100 hours from a lot of cc's. There's a limit how much you can milk a game.

  7. In my experience, once I quit a gacha game and stopped playing for a while, it is really difficult to come back since I missed a lot of content and it normally puts me in a really disadvantageous position. So once I leave a gacha game, it is permanent.

Really want Genshin Impact to improve further since I love this game so I am quite fearful for its future if MHY will continue to neglect the concerns of the community.

  8. I knew what I was getting into when I signed up on Day One. It's a Waifu Harem Simulator :y

Genshin's map looks beautiful and livelier compared to maps from any Ubisoft game out now.

If I want a game with challenge to skill and technique and not damage checks, I'll just play Titanfall 2 or DOOM Eternal.

  9. I mean it's exactly why they didn't plan for this game to last this long that I feel like they should just move on to a new, more exciting project. Sure, we had our fun here, but if they have something better planned using the money they horded here, then I'm all for it.

  10. I came across Genshin impact through Akidearest, I saw some ads of the game and thought it was just another Raid shadow legend game with over-the-top ads. curiosity got the best of me and I installed the game. I was having loads of fun for the first 2-3 weeks I didn't look up anything related to Genshin on youtube which made the experience far better, I didn't know that we could go to Lieue, I thought the region was quest blocked, I don't know what resin is about, I didn't know that you could farm domains for artifacts, I didn't know what artifacts are i.e since xian ling looked like a martial artist I put that set on her, I thought that leylines are popup quest and ended up clearing them where ever I see. I got noel in her banner, qiqi in 20 wishes or so but didn't know what the rates are and the whole Gacha aspect. Then the first video that was recommended to me was from Mtashed (he used to be the thing in the first month) and then it was downhill from there…I'm pretty much a whale and a lucky one too compared to others who have lost 50/50 and had to spend more, but I realized with games like Genshin F2P for the win, if I'm planning to play long term. and I can quit whenever I want and won't be obliged to play just I spent money on it.

  11. Again nice video there, glad to see both sides of the coin when it comes to this issue. Gacha games is just brutal I play diiferent gacha games. Its hard to quit any game you know you earned every progress in the game. Most gacha games always have content lulls anyway except pvp. So just hang in here travelers.

  12. Genshin is litteraly can be come a game that what PC game feels like in mobile, there is so many potential in this game it's suck that the lack of permanent contents do slowly make player quit because nobody want play this game like a job in I wish this game can make new expansion area patch with more new permanent content with a dead week so new and old comeback player grind this game for upcoming big update. And also it tooks around 4 months just to lv70 almost all character in this game without buy bp at all it show how grindy this game can be that's why i hope leyline overflow can reappears again so new and old player can catch up for big preparation.

  13. I'm glad I already played a few gacha games, I was playing Langrisser and dropped it like a hot potato when Genshin came into the picture. That made it easier to recognize the gacha aspects of Genshin right away.

Players have been leaving the game for quite a while now though. At least in my circle I'm the only person who's still playing. They quit because of the content drought and the gacha grind…

  14. My first exposure to Geshin Impact was MMOBytes when he announced the dates for the first beta test

"FOMO" isn't really a concern with Mihoyo games based on my 3+ years experience with them, so that's a soft pass. They rerun events, albeit reskinned (missing event only weapons that aren't 5* is meh, get them on the rerun next year). This isn't Destiny 2

Mihoyo's only other competitor worth noting in KuroGames inc, who made Punishing Gray Raven to try to step up to be a rival for Honkai Impact 3rd (and is even more hardcore surprisingly).

I see where you're coming from, and I agree on your stance on a lot of the pinpoints you brought up. My only concern is if this competitor with be "hardcore" like PGR (hard stamina caps for activities, increased difficulty, heavier lean on PvP thus making meta = gacha an actual thing) or excessively casual that you have no incentive to get "end game" level equipment

  16. Having patience is good, but I don't expect the people spamming fancams that are probably underage, playing their first gacha game to have patience especially they grew up in a time where they can literally voice their opinion without repercussions

    Thanks Twitter

  17. My first exposure to Genshin was when miHoYo released the official reveal trailer back then, I was already a miHoYo veteran, or just a gacha game veteran in general after years of playing Honkai, Bandori and Arknights. I was hyped for it but I wasn't lucky enough to get accepted for the cbt servers so I had to wait, played immediately on release day and never stopped playing since.

  18. I saw leaks of genshin impact a long while ago and was like oh snap that looks cool and didnt see it till it was on my tab on psn and was like OH HEY ITS THAT GAME! and i was super hyped but then realized the gacha aspect of it. Raid shadow legends was my first gacha and i quit that game so fast lol but because genshin was actually more like a open world rpg i kept playing its just a rough dry spell. Also other open world rpgs have a style of replayability which most single player rpgs shine with, genshin obviously dosnt have this unless you have multiple accounts then you kinda get that but thats something i think is a huge draw back, maybe if they had like a story replay with difficulty modifiers that give rewards for completing it like other rpgs it could help a ton considering every other rpg has this with rewards like power up items or end game weapons or maybe skins or something like that, with genshins storys being like little books to scroll through they could take advantage of that like they do with the hangout events thats my two bits for this video L=
    Keep up the good work!

  19. 🌸🌹I am of the belief that we whom started Genshin Impact first shall not be privy to its best. We are but the cobblestone to Genshin’s coveted state of perfection.

It is those that shall come after us that will be afforded the best experience for it is so that they shall have an abundance of content and a detailed world to explore unequaled in the mobile platform.

It is so that we are victims of our first generation status. We are like elders beholding a world as it unfolds and those that come after us, the legacy that shall reap it all🌹🌸

  20. They're complaining about how their accounts gets hack easily but again it's not mihoyo fault you trusted a streamer to make your account better that's your fault and only you can blame yourself for it

  22. When I start Genshin impact, I knew I was going to jump into gacha hell, a second gacha hell, for the third time..what I didn't expect was It comes with a seriously build open world. I mean I play both GGZ and Honkai..stopped already but still. If it "free to play" it will be sure as hell to be a gacha games.
