Genshin Impact’s 1.5 update overhauls the game performance, frame rate, and loading times drastically. We put the two side by side and see how much of a difference there is. We also test out the loading times between the PlayStation 4 Pro and the PlayStation 5.

  2. The telport points for me are tops like 2 seconds. I love it on the ps5 so much I'm farming it up now as my official second account. I'm at AR 53 on the mobile version so playing on the ps5 is like a new experience. Especially since I have different 5 stars compared to my main which almost has all of them but my psn almost has the rest I don't have on my main XD

  3. I just timed it, and my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra loaded the game in about 58 seconds as well. Sure, it's not loading in 4K assets but it looks damn good, crazy to think it's on a phone, running without a fan, and staying at or under 45°C…

  4. Only problem I have with the ps5 version is that it reintroduced frame drops into the game. The ps4 pro version on ps5 was a nice smooth Locked 60 for me. At the very least the load times are way way better.

  5. Actually kinda suprised it's not faster. It only takes like 20 seconds on my PC at most and sometimes is only a few seconds. Teleporters for me area also basically instant, perhaps the launching of the game is heavily single threaded? Would also make sense considering the game was made for mobile first and most phones only have 2-4 main cores and usually 4-6 minor cores.

  6. The frame rate seems to have dropped a bit whenever I teleport to a statue, I don’t remember seeing that in the backward compatibility mode. Also Monstadt still has frame drops for me, is anyone else having this problem?
