  1. Wow. This was a very long break. Specially for trying Zhongli.
Well, if you check out the details of wishing, you understand it better. But here's some tips if you want to save:

There is a pity system in wishing. And each banner has their own seperate Pity.
For example, in character banner, there is a 90 wish pity, which means that if you don't get a 5 star in 89 pulls, the 90th pull is guranteed to be a 5 star. The same is for 4 stars. If you don't pull a 4 star in 9 wishes, the 10th wish is guranteed to be a 4 star. You can check your wishes in History and count them.
And pity resets after you pull a five star, or the pity for 4 star. 4 star and 5 star have seperate pitys.
And then again, if the first 5 star you pull is not the promoted character in banner, the next one is guranteed to be it. Making it a 180 wish pity in worst case.
The same is for 4 star, if the 4 star you pull is not a promoted one, the next one is guranteed to be a promoted.
This pity carries over in the events of same banner. For example, if you wish in Albedo banner and got Mona, the next 5 star is guranteed to be Albedo or the next banner promoted, which is Ganyu at this moment. The pity is seperate in every banner, and it only carries over in the same banner.
And people found out that there is a Soft Pity which starts at 75, meaning the chance of getting a 5 star drastically increases after 75 pulls.
And in weapon banner there is no gurantee you get the weapon you want.
If you want to save for someone in the future, you can consider these tips.
Yet again, thanks for the great content. 🤗😍😎
