📖 STORY OVERVIEW & LET’S PLAY INFORMATION

The world of Teyvat is out setting and is composed of seven nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya. Each nation worships one of The Seven gods known as the Archons who each preside over one of the nations. Sounds like a Star Trek episode… Anyway… We follow ‘the Traveller’ as they are separated from their twin and are trapped on Teyvat. As the Traveller we go in search of our lost sister with our companion Paimon… like Navi… but more edible.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, PC, Android, iOS & Switch. The gameplay for this playthrough will be captured at 60 FPS on the PC version to take advantage of the higher bitrate on YouTube!

  1. Main Character answer options when he/she meet sibling is kinda dissapointing. So generic. Though i understand that he/she is shocked and acting on emotions, but still…

  2. The term being rendered as "destiny" here and in the We Will Be Reunited trailer (that has the exact same destiny quote wholesale); the trailer itself is something the previous Dainsleif quest alludes to) is 天理, which is the same word that is rendered as the Divine in the story chapter preview trailer you may or may not have not watched to avoid spoilers…and the "heavenly princples" in the intro is also this word. Reason/logic/principles of the heavens would be the closest translation, I believe.

Inconsistent localization is fun. The preview trailer's narrated by Dain though, and it's got stuff to say about the archons, Tsaritsa included.

  3. And there it is, the moment that made me dread what I thought was happening. Lumine and the Abyss working together was the one thing I was afraid of finding out, but the way Dainsleif went after her made him look incredibly suspicious. Oh yeah, there was a mixed feedback with that scene. Lots of players were complaining that the MC should've spoked, instead of Paimon recapping everything we already knew.

  4. I think I have understood what fully happened with Khaenri’ah based on the new Archon Quest. Some of it is speculation but it does have a strong indication with it as well. I don’t think it was as petty as just mere jealousy for why the gods destroyed Khaenri’ah.

The twins came to Teyvat while traveling between worlds. Lumine woke up first and Aether was still asleep.

Later she witnessed the war between Khaenri’ah and Celestia. The war occurred long after the Archon war ended.

It’s possible that Lumine was assisting Khaenri’ah and fighting against the gods of Teyvat. But she failed and she woke Aether up and told that they had to leave Teyvat

I think that the Unknown God or the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles was from Celestia and was sent to capture Lumine for her role in assisting Khaenri’ah.

The Unknown God said “The arrogation of man ends here.” Khaenri’ah was seen as the pride of human kind. It’s possible that Celestia had a justified reason for destroying Khaenri’ah.

Perhaps Khaenri’ah was trying to defy the gods of Teyvat and tried to usurp them so that they could rule over Teyvat.

The Ruin Guards/Field Tillers and the story of why they are called Field Tillers indicates that Khaenri’ah may have been a nation of war.

Dainslief warned the Traveler not to antagonize the gods and not to usurp their power. He also stated that he wouldn’t make the same mistakes as his fore-bearers. Maybe that’s what Khaenri’ah did and they were destroyed for it.

The survivors of Khaenri’ah became the creatures of the Abyss and they declared Lumine their princess while Aether was once again put to sleep for 500 years.

But there is another possible reason for why Khaenri’ah warred against Celestia. Remember how Scaramouche said that the sky is fake or he mentioned the “false sky”?

Maybe Khaenri’ah found out what that actually meant and they decided to wage war against Celestia. Celestia not only destroyed them for their attempt of usurping their power to perhaps bury the secret of the “false sky”.

I think that Celestia is fearful of something. They didn’t want the mortals to find out about it. Maybe Celestia is protecting Teyvat from something very sinister.

But I do know this. The “false sky” is connected to Honkai Impact.

  5. You can try climbing the statue. Even easier with geo MC. Well, no achievement whatsoever but as it comes only once per account it'll be worth a screenshot.
Although it may be too late for now because the quest is already cleared

  6. Dain wanted to destroy it, but your sibling told you to not, since dain left with them, the mc was left confused and unsure if destroying it is the correct thing to do. So I guess they left it for now.
