📖 STORY OVERVIEW & LET’S PLAY INFORMATION

The world of Teyvat is out setting and is composed of seven nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya. Each nation worships one of The Seven gods known as the Archons who each preside over one of the nations. Sounds like a Star Trek episode… Anyway… We follow ‘the Traveler’ as they are separated from their twin and are trapped on Teyvat. As the Traveler we go in search of our lost sister with our companion Paimon… like Navi… but more edible.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, PC, Android, iOS & Switch. The gameplay for this playthrough will be captured at 60 FPS on the PC version to take advantage of the higher bitrate on YouTube!

  1. 3:10 Well fairly useful as a support character with both his element skill and his burst. And now that I remembered he is actually one of the characters that are currently on trial,so if you are curious how he is then go the the trail page on the events and try him out.

  2. 4:35 im fairly certain people use bennet more as a support because of his element burst,it heals when characters have less then 70% up and raises their attack when they have more then 70% hours in the area.

  3. It's actually better to use singles instead of multi's when summoning since there's always a chance you get the 4🌟 or 5🌟 within the 10 pulls you would usually use in a multi. At least in my experience so that way you can save up on gems if you get what you want.

  4. 13:53 oh youre getting there dont worry, just wait till your adventure rank and world level goes up then you'll see. The resources required for ascending characters and weapons get more and more demanding(that and the whole resisn limit for both and the domains changing with the day of the week for weapons) and then there is relics ,trust me relics make a huge difference and are pretty much required for higher world levels.

  5. Alright; Basic rundown of Character kits and currently available roster:

Bennet: OP DPS support + Healer + Pyro Element (Generally considered the strongest element in game); Bennet’s also generally considered to be the best unit in game overall; Par Maybe Venti. The only reasons NOT to use him are if you don’t like him, or if you don’t have him (me). All of his kit is basically packed entirely into his Ult, so he generally benefits from having a strong weapon + a massive amount of Energy Recharge, which allows him to spam his Ult, and Increase Weapon attack is one of the only 2 ways to amp up his Ultimate’s (Frankly Massive) Damage Boost; which applies to anyone on the field currently. Also to briefly explain Bennet’s Ult: Throw it onto the field, and then switch to your main damage dealer, receive massive damage buff, and constant healing; but only if you stay in the circle.

Xingqui: Also OP DPS support + Healer + Water Element (Water’s insanely dangerous to be inflicted with, which is what makes him so good, while it’s not exactly potent on it’s own; the Hydro + Reaction, and the Hydro + Electro reactions in particular are quite strong, Hydro + Cryo is also quite potent in different forms).

Beidou: FULL COUNTER!!! (Also: Her Ult can be used as a Electro element buff in the same way as Xingqui’s buffs) Charged attacks are quite good for her, and after her final Passive Skill is unlocked; it becomes an optimal damage method, without the 3rd skill it’s generally better to do the first 2 attacks of her normal attack, and then dodge, then rinse; repeat.

Sucrose: Mini Venti; not AS op as Venti or Bennet, but definitely a very powerful unit. Better than Jean except she can’t heal; can provide an Elemental Mastery buff to the party, and due to being wind she can provide an additional Elemental Resistance debuff to the enemy party. Elemental Mastery’s not exactly essential for Beidou, since none of her damage scales on the stat, but she can also provide consistent crowd control and consistent damage even without the Elemental Mastery buffs she can provide. She also happens to excel phenomenally with a 3 star weapon called “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers” which increases the attack of the next party member by about up to 50%, and this applies no matter what kind of damage form they use.

Jean: Probably the worst person in your party so far honestly; she can crowd control like Sucrose, and she can Heal scaled on the attack stat, except healing’s not that useful because Holy Sh*t Does this game have invincibility frames she really can’t deal much damage, although if there’s a bottomless pit nearby you can Yeet them straight in and kill them instantly. Although she can be useful in Mobile I think due to the fact Mobile’s quite a bit more laggy. Unfortunately all she offers are situational crowd control though and healing, at least as a Support. She’s generally better as a main DPS, and even then her damage doesn’t really compare to anyone else in the party.

Amber: Don’t bother; I wasted so much leveling her up: Damage really doesn’t improve with Amber, no matter how much you try to build her.

Kaeya: Decently good Cryo Support, can I Guess Deal damage, he can kind of spam his special move a bit due to a somewhat fast Cooldown, but he’s more focused on his Ult, which honestly can help a lot with certain setups. Due to how Beidou works, he would be a pretty good support for her, since the Cryo + Electro reaction would directly increase Beidou’s main damage form.

Lisa: Similar to Kaeya in terms of situationally good, moderately viable support, basically the same issues and same advantages; except instead her Ult is more like Jean and Bennet’s in that it’s basically just stationary to a set location- except unlike them instead of healing or increasing damage, she just directly Deals Damage.

I’d also recommend you go into the Party Menu option, and check something called Party Resonance to get an additional idea at optimizing different setups yourself.

    …Dear god I hope I didn’t miss anything.

  6. 2:00 – I may be wrong, but i think with this tallent you can take advantage of burning grass. Just try to stand into fire and use skill.

25:47 – That place called Celestia. It's some kind of gods residence. For now it's just a 2d texture in a sky, but i guess someday we'll get there.

  7. notice:
    – In the character menu, when you ascend characters at certain ascension levels, you get a free acquaint fate. Check the top right of the attribute screen and press L1 when you open the ascension requirement screen to see it.

    – Damn you dismissed my boi benett like that :(. He's probably the best 4star support dps for his heal and attack buff. "Elementary, My Dear" typed a comment about each character you currently own and went into much more detail than i probably ever will.

    – The exchange shop for stardust and starglitter (the talisman looking things you get from wishing) refreshes every month. A total of 5 acquaint and 5 intertwined fates can be exchanged using stardusts per month. Meaning you need 750 stardust every month to buy all the limited fates. For starglitter, most people try to save up to buy one or both of the two available 4 star character in the shop, which changes every month.

    – In most gacha games, the beginning is meant to be very easy to level up too entice people to keep playing. Its only at later levels that things really start to feel grindy. Heres a sneak peak of late game: It takes 140+ purple character exp to level a character from lv80 to lv90. Lets say ley line overflows are the only way to get these exp materials. It takes 20 o.resin to get about 7 of these materials. This means it would take about 20 x 20 o.resin which is about 400 o.resin. Since it takes about 1 day to get 160 o.resin, it would take at least 2.5 days to get one character from lv80 to lv90, assuming you forget ascension materials – which i believe takes significantly more time – and you do only these ley lines every day. To get 4 characters from lv80 to lv 90, it would take at least 10 days. Quik mafs

    – Each character has a certain world perk e.g some give bonus stuff when cooking or crafting or others show certain items on the mini map when you go by them. When cooking, if a character has a certain perk that would benefit you, the little circle on the top right of the character pic at the top right of the screen will blink. Select the character with the perk to make use of their perk. The same applies to crafting at the blacksmith or the alchemist table.

  8. 4:38 Did I heard "her design" or "the design"? He's a guy, though
Xiangling is very decent for F2P for support or even DPS. Maybe you want to swap Bennett for her for a while. Bennett is very decent to get max damage with his ultimate but to make him deploy his ultimate frequently you need to min-maxing energy recharge also get Bennett to at least C1. Xiangling is decent enough even in C0 and without so much min-maxing in the early game. With Beidou as your main DPS, the overloaded reaction will be good for you so IMO Xiangling is probably better for you now. Maybe you already got her from Spiral Abyss 3-3 already by now

  9. It's up to your preference weather or not you like to use Bennett, but he's one of the best 4 star characters in the entire game. His elemental burst buffs your parties attack and heals at the same time. Xiangling is also a great pyro character when you finally get her.

  10. Xingqiu is a powerful support when paired with strong pyro damage, due to being the most reliable way to repeatedly make things wet. And that isn't even a euphemism.

Actually deals a surprising amount of damage too but that isn't really the main point.
