You can stack the research chamber btw
Heyo, long time viewer. Love your series so far. A thing to note:
1:02:05 – You can actually stack your labs together vertically. I put three sorters on their inputs and going from lab to lab to keep up with production and to set myself up for the future as you can gain upgrades to stack them even further.
I also got to the point where I think creating a factorio like set up where we construct science and move it to the labs would be beneficial as well.
Great video. Excited to see where this series goes.
This is so unoriginal, just literally the same systems, buildings and resource types. Get past the graphics and 3D look and you just have Factorio.
Really enjoying this series.
Hi Tuplex,
Love the episode
At 58:00 the alignment of the belt with the side entrance is off so that is why it again wanted to take 2 squares to connect
And about the stacking if science you already have the ability 😉
Keep it going, greetings Listerman.
36:30 – Sorters. Their speed is related to how many tiles they span. Your first iron smelters took sorters across two tiles and therefore needed two sorters to keep up speed-wise. The copper was only a single tile, and a single sorter could feed the smelter full.
Tuplex, did you ever look at Factory Town? Here's a link to the start of an Aavak series for an overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjakZzZ2xGo
Don't run your bus north to south, go east to west. The curvature become unforgiving the closer to the poles you get.
For the copper splitters, isn't there a single level splitter variant? Not sure why you kept going with the raised cross variant and then had to mess with elevation changes coming out of the splitters.
Looking forward to seeing you getting REALLY optimized.
You don't have to cut the trees. If you build over the trees they will disapear automaticaly.
It's the curvature of the Earth. Shorter at fast speed and one next to it at slow speed curvature issue.
