You would be surprised how much even in real life how much damage a human can take before dying, Grenades don't often kill and only have a short damage range its rather realistic in this game so that guy that took many grenades was realistic, grenade shoot out small fragments its not guaranteed they will hit and they spread out in a inverse square law double the distance 4 times less hits in a area
