  1. League sucks fucking dick. They release shit copy and paste champs, remove fun game modes, make balance changes that make the game frustrating… the game even looks like shit right now, its all the same flavorless shit, fuck that game

  2. That's why i play dota 2 more now. As a level 6 support, i can still oneshot their max level tank. So you can still have fun even if you are behind
. Also abilities doesn't scale with items so you can have more wacky build and win, as long as you know how to play

  3. Hey Yakko, I've been a fan of yours since the league days, and I just want to say: I love your style and new content. You've helped me find a lot of really cool games I like, and honestly your experience with league matches up with mine and surely a lot of others. My friends and I tried to play for fun, and eventually all of us left aside from the occasional game or two because of how competitive it became–and thus how hard to enjoy if that's not you. The world/art/music etc is great, but it isn't the game. I'm glad we could escape. L̶e̶g̶e̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶R̶u̶n̶e̶t̶e̶r̶r̶a̶ ̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶.̶.̶

Jokes aside, it's been a great ride and I'm excited for the future. Cheers to a great content creator (that's you), new videos, and freedom from League.

  4. this is exactly what i felt last night, as a casual dude who plays games for fun after a day of my normal life it sucks having to face smurfs or one tricks or trashtalkers who just kills my mood of just playing the game for fun that's why i'm finding new games i could play whenever i have free time instead of breaking my sanity, i've been playing league for 7 years and i'm hurt to see you and the bois go but it's for the good or your own sanities as well

  5. I started watching you MORE when you stopped posting about League. The amount of joy and care you feel towards your other content is very apparent and makes them more enjoyable to watch. Negative content draws crowds, sure, but positive content resonates better with people

  6. I personally think that league being balanced around professional play is great, it’s very possible to make some changes to a champion such as lee sin, reduce his clear speed by two seconds. Two seconds that will only affect a little bit of challenger jingles and massively on pro play. But removing fun game modes is a travesty that cannot be forgiven. I think league being an esport have helped so many people achieve their dreams and I rather not have a timeline where they cannot achieve the pinnacles of skill in their favorite game. On a side note, Asia, where more of league’s players base lie, is ultra competitive and intensely mechanical with lose average game time. I would recommend DuaHuaP’s video on Korean solo q and such. Secondly they can get more fun out of competition since they have Internet cafes and have a more serious clash-like environment with their friends on small tournaments hosted by such Internet cafes. In conclusion, I think league can both be competitive and fun, with different balance for different modes. Like ranked is completely tuned to prop play, a normal of the same patch to test out. A normal for casual players and all the fun game modes with all the fun maps.

  7. Riot itself is to blame for LoL's lore being disconnected from the gameplay.
Back when Summoners were a thing, even if the whole concept was silly, at least players had incentive to care about the lore because we were "involved". We had a lore match, Ionia vs. Noxus, and could even communicate with our favorite champions through JoJ. Overall, the lore was silly but it involved players.
Now the lore is completely divorced from the gameplay and became a playground for failed writers to jerk off their creativity.

  8. Been here for a while (since the beginnings of your league interactions with magicarpusedfly) and I've gotta say I couldn't agree more with nearly every point you've made here. I'm in the same boat where I used to be legitimately addicted to league but realized after a couple years that its just not fun, and the only reason I was spending so much time with it was because I already had sunk so much time into it. Anyways what I really mean to say is that you're awesome and I am absolutely in love with the post-league content on this channel. Your taste in games (and their soundtracks) is impeccable and I'm sure there are many who feel the same.

  9. I haven't played since Sett was added, and honesty i have way much fun just chillin in the Legends of Runeterra PvE modes + other games, rather than spending my time only playing League.

  10. This video basically sums up why i only played about 5 games of ranked for the 4 years i have spent playing this game
And now i basically only play aram because thats just more fun and less stress

  11. Yeah riots honestly killing this game due to the fact they're making it TOO competitive, which wouldn't be bad if they weren't taking a century with the casual other games they're "making". For the first time since I started I actually felt like not playing league for close to a week cause it's just a chore at this point. Arams fun but annoying sometimes cause of the coin flip RNG. Hurry up and make the dang fighting game riot, even being toxic at others being annoying just doesn't feel worth it anymore

  12. Your humor is great yakko but I just love your videos as a whole for how damn smooth and well written they are. They’re really fun to listen to or watch, and I hope you’ve got big plans for the future

  13. This is the point where I recommend Heroes of the Storm, a MOBA where you can do silly bs to your heart’s content while not getting dunked on. The game lacks support but part of the reason is the lack of recognition it gets for how fun it is. Yes, it is a blizzard game, but I think it’s worth a shot for everyone who drifts away from league because of it being too toxic/competitive.
