  1. I will concede that origami king did try much harder in terms of theming and memorable set pieces and places to go but I still can’t say I enjoyed the game for me at least the combat DRAGGED and was honestly too slow to keep me engaged and I have this kind of mantra “fight everything” which honestly maybe if I skipped some fights I wouldn’t hate this game’s combat but I still don’t think its ideal I’d much rather fight with a customizable perks and such like the older games it just felt much more customizable and personalized that way

  2. Good thing I watched the Sonic movie on Hulu yesterday and I did enjoy it, especially Jim Carrey, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't really like Sonic the Hedgehog. I mean yeah the movie wasn't high class art, but it at least was entertaining.

  3. I thought the sonic movie was good. Not great, but not bad. I liked origami king, but I will admit I felt some of the bosses overstayed their welcome. Cyberpunk has never interested me, and I personally don’t really understand the appeal of it? Idk, maybe I’m just tired of modern (for lack of a better word) edgy games with ultra hyper realistic dull graphics and edgy gameplay. I can’t say I was surprised its launch went over the way it did. I might be being too harsh on it, though

  4. I get that we've all got different tastes, but I can't help but be baffled when Michael says 2019 had a drought, implying that it's somehow worse than 2020. 2020 wasn't bad, all things considered, but the comparison just isn't there. 2019 had some great games all across the board, releasing at a consistant rate too. The only way I see anyone getting bored is if they aren't in the know.

Devil May Cry 5 (best action game ever), Luigi's Mansion 3, Sekiro, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair, Travis Strikes Again, Daemon X Machina, Astral Chain, Katana Zero etc.

  5. One aspect I think could've made the movie have more fan appeal was way more music from the games, as opposed to the forgettable generic Hollywood orchestral score (besides from re-using Sonic Mania's 'Friends' track from Hyper Potion in the film's opening, the only original piece I remember was Robotnik's theme, but even that took some inspiration from the character's theme from AoSTH).

Search up "Sonic Movie Scene With Sonic Game Music" and you'll know what I mean when it makes them way more energetic and engaging.
