We explain how to upload your own world on GPORTAL Valheim server:

– Start your server to create the savegame folder structure and stop your server again.
– Locate the savegame on your computer. It is usually located here: C:UsersusernameAppDataLocalLowIronGateValheim
– Connect to your server, using the FTP Connection
– Upload the worlds folder (character folder is not needed) to /save/

  1. I have a issue that if i change save name „world” to my files name then after save it always back to „world” how? Edit. Server name, password and savegamename always back to basic… only admin list and whitelist saves what i type there. Whats wrong?

  2. I started it up and the world was the same but everything in the world is despawned. Trees, buildings, enemies everything. Any idea where I went wrong? When I moved it over it asked me to overright files which I just did assuming it wouldnt effect my single player world, but now even in single player it does the same.

  3. Is SavegameName the name of my World?? Can server name be anything or does it need to match something? Do I need to do anything with the "start_headless_server" file or anything with Steam's "Valheim Dedicated Server"? So far followed this video and it does not work.

  4. I tried this and my server doesn't show up on the Join Games list. I tried through View Servers on Steam application but then it didn't load the latest saved game for some reason? Like I had a 20 hour rollback

  5. I tried doing this and I get the "Insecure FTP connection, This server does not support FTP over TLS"
"If you continue, your password and files will be sent in clear over the internet."

    What does that even mean?

  6. i have an issue where the server works fine and my friend can play on my server but as soon as i join the game the server shows a connection issue symbol at the top left. then the server crashes 5 seconds later. Every single time i try to join it does this. i have tried everything i can think of from reinstalling the game, checking gfx drivers, restarting the computer, trying to log in with a new character on the server etc nothing seems to work.

  7. I got everything working fine super quickly, but my issue is that my uploaded world was somehow assigned a different seed than before, how do I get my old seed so it isn't all messed up? lol
