  1. Hi skye, I remember you did the new upcoming games lists and I enjoyed those thoroughly, though you did steer me wrong a few times, the majority were honest and good reviews!

  2. Master tip!! Do not build a main bus (if that is what you wanna do… do not ask me why 🤔) remember to do it eastward or westward!! North or South will end in tears!!

  3. This is my first time actually watching back a livestream from Skye so first time hearing Picture's voice. I wish I'd tuned in long before now because her voice is divine!

Tips videos are awesome but here is my tip for the game:

If you want to remove the items from a belt but not rip up the belt itself, click on the belt section to bring up the info then click on the resource icon to remove it from the belt. If you click and hold it will keep sucking up items as they come onto the belt.

  4. Hey Sky! Watching your stream after the fact. wouldn't it be better to have all the science coming in from both sides? basically split the lines up and send the cubes in both directions. I would help get the research to the last ones more consistently.

  5. Hey Skye, with your turbine tiny baby production area I think you need to rework your first line of magnet production. You have the magnets going into the tower and need to reroute them maybe to the other row of magnet production. Loving this game, please keep sharing it with us. Btw please make sure their are enough large holes so Picture can breath in her box.

  6. the mk1 belt is too slow for the last of the smelter to pick up its piece. If the ore gets low and the ore production is around 6 per second, theoretically it would work. Truth is the width of the smelter to the next smelter gives a sorter time to pick up a second piece to fill its own buffer and all machines do that. They don't care about the next one in line they always try to fill their buffer. And thats why the last smelter wont get its piece. You can mitigate that by using a faster belt. I only use mk2 belts for everything. Mk3 sorters make this effect worse because it will snatch everything of the line to fill the buffer.

  7. My tip, pay attention to the yellow dots that appear on the buildings. They let you know if you might have forgotten to hook up an output or input. This game does get you sidetracked very easily!

  8. Morning, Skye. New sub, I discovered your channel after searching for tips on DSP. Love it. Great tips and my kind of sense of humour. Here's my question. Once the logistics towers are unlocked, is it worth going back and tearing down my base and rebuild on a material hub layout? Kind of like having a site that makes each product and feeds into a logisitics tower. A kind of decentralised approach.

  9. Hey Skye I thought I wouldn't enjoy watching you play this game, but I'm obsessed. I love listening to your voice it's awesome. I hope you're planning on doing more transport fever vids cause I miss them too. Tell Picture Perfect she's doing fine with her reading especially if she is dyslexic.

  10. Hi Skye. While being hooked on DSP myself, I still enjoy watching you play. I do like your little baby processor production. That's a nice, clean setup there.

You messed up your magnetic coils production a bit, though. You somehow convinced yourself that you would need 2 copper ingots and 1 magnet for these – and consequently ignored the recipe tool tip afterwards 😀 – so you put the copper ingots from the tower on an mk3 belt and the magnets on mk2 when it should be the other way around. Also, you produce 2 coils/s per assembler so you need to use mk2 sorters (instead of the current mk1) to put them onto mk2 belts (instead of the current mk1) – since you get 12 coils/s per assembler row – merging onto a mk3 belt (instead of the current mk2) going into the tower. But it WAS late, wasn't it? 😀 So a single row of 6 magnetic coil assemblers saturates your whole turbine production (12x 1mc/2s for the motors + 6x 2mc/2s for the turbines = 12 mc/s) and you then get a 12 mc/s surplus which you can use for your blue cube research or such.

Last but not least, if you look at the assemblers, the mk1s are not the "regular" ones, the mk2s are. The mk1s are actually SLOWER (x0.75 vs. x1.0 speed). But of course it evens out since you only use mk1s for your setup. Everything just takes a bit longer than the recipes state. 😉

  11. Here is a tip for your next video. Need to place a building on top of a ore vein, but you also want to be able to mine the vein? Use terrain modification to hide the ore, place your building, then use terrain modification to re-expose the vein. Cheers.

  12. This was fun to watch. I bought the game because of you, and have already logged way too many hours. I'm into yellow cubes now, getting ready to unlock purple, but my yellow production is awful. I can't seem to get many organic crystals. Short of turning every oil pump into plastic and refined oil for these things, think you could include a tip on how to make them easier in your next tip video?

  13. Finally caught up !
Any point in mass producing anything but Iron/Copper ingots in the beginning?
I've been setting up a storage for every resource I unlock, but from only 2 Iron/copper miners, maybe I should hold off on that at the start…

  14. Can somebody help me. I don´t know what to do with all the refined Oil. I need hydrogen. So to get it i refine Oil. But i get a massive account of refinded oil as a "side product. So i decide to produce plastic and also Gems but no matter what i really get to many refined oil. Did i miss something? If my container are full, the refinery stop and so i dont get hydrogene.

  15. Hi Skye will you be going to a new star in next video, I know you were not sure which star is the closest you have six stars which are 4ly away Alifa , hadar , schemali , theta booties, theta crater is and nicolaus in your game seed , good tip is when making warp fuel is to use green cube as 1 green cube gives you 8 fuel ,the logistics towers do not have a storage space for the warp fuel and am not sure how the logistics ships equipped them

  16. Hello skye! So I had a thought. Would it be fascinating to make another series? Imagine this…. once you complete your first play through, you will have all the knowledge necessary for the game, theoretically. Then you should make a new video where you reach 100% completion in record time. I believe in you. Your tip vendors were perfect. You could totally make a would record play through! You would be a very good woof woof if you did that.

  17. @Skye 1:03:27 you muttered about only being able to rotate one way… hold the RightShift key instead of LeftShift for "move off-grid" mode (so you don't have to reach across keyboard and can still hold the mouse) and use right- and left-arrow keys to micro-rotate instead of only rotate-clockwise. It's not at all obvious this is a thing but it's crazy useful! (:

  18. I've reached green cubes in my game too, and I kinda see why the YouTubers covering this game have dropped off at this point. The scope of what you have to do to produce them is when the game becomes daunting. I'm in another system already and I'm going to be strip mining the entire planet of its titanium just to produce a modest 12 pink crystals per second. Obviously you don't have to be as ambitious as I'm attempting to be but considering that you need so many green cubes for both research and efficient warp production I think it's worth it. And for reference I figure you need to mine at least 288 titanium ore(144 ingots in 288 smelters) per second to reach that modest goal. Not to mention the organic crystals etc. I like the game but yeah. The scale has become daunting. Cheers. Hope ya haven't given up on this series but I understand if ya did. Lol. All that said, the huge production lines look satisfying as they come together. Ripping around the planet on the MK3 belts. Sweeeet.

  19. The most frustrating thing about this game is the grid system. I understand why it is the way it is, but it would be cool to have a fantasy option that generates perfectly flat worlds with a perfect grid system.
