Did you get a hair cut? I think I’m starting to like coatings… I mean check out the sr 152 coating! ITS SICK!!! AND ITS FREE!!! also it’s not gonna be hard to get these types of colors cuz there’s no loot box or randomness. If you see the coating with the color combo you love then you can grind for that one color that you like. It’s not a total trash system. If we had loot boxes then I would have an issue but it doesn’t

SEAN I know you're a busy guy but i'm hoping you read this. I would bet my entire checking account on Infinite releasing on November 15. It's the 20th anniversary of CE. How better to spiritual reboot than to release on the same day especially with how Phil talks about the nostalgia being so important to them and 343. Big bet write it down.
See I just hope that the armor coating isn’t the only way of getting colors other than that everything else look greatly and the graphics look miles ahead of the reveal in July, yes it is just a phot but still it looks a lot better, hopefully they can deliver on the story but I have hope that they will

There's actually two pick-ups. The one screenshot where 1 spartan is, in the room behind him there is the pick-up for grappleshot. The other is obviously Camo.
Officially the game will launch in Fall 2021, but we're getting to Flight before then!
I really wish 343 would address those Minecraft like blocky walls. They are such an eye sore and need to go.
I hate the coating system. I think its a huge step back. Its more of a call for money as opposed to an evolution of player choice. That reward for 152 is stupid.
I hope it won’t be supporting Xbox One now that it’s delayed. The og Xbox One is just going to hold the game back.
While I don’t expect it to happen, I really hope there’s some sort of deal where you get the coatings for free if you purchase the full game. Also with how this post separated “coatings” from actual armor, I assume that all armor will be earned and not paid. Would be cool if you get unique armor+coatings for playing the campaign since MP will be free to play.
It is still kind of disappointing that there will be micro transactions, seeing how much cool stuff they were able to add to MCC for free.

I have a feeling that we'll get another decently sized update sometime in January after the holidays. It would be nice to get something like Bungie's old "ViDocs" with a few clips of updated campaign gameplay and a short look at the customization UI just so we can really get a sense of what is possible/ how it works. I'm excited to see what they meant by the line:
"Likewise, players have seen coatings for weapons and vehicles – they know about that. But that’s not all they’ll be able to customize there either."
It would be awesome to have highly customizable vehicles (down to the shape of turrets or new gear like fuel cans) and weapons (like purely aesthetic attachments or versions of the same weapon). I'd love to have an extremely tactical looking Spartan even though all the customization is aesthetic only, which is exactly how it should be.
I'd love to see the multiplayer too but I have a feeling they're holding onto that until closer to the Fall.

Competent developers can make a game in 2-3 years. 343 gets 5 and still needs a ~10 month delay to shit one out.
I'm still concerned and upset about the (apparent) fact they still want to charge money for armor colors.

Looks like an amped up version of Halo 3, mixed with Reach and a sprinkle of 5. My excitement was dead after the armor coatings, but I'm more excited now.

The Grind towards SR152 is never too late. Hope on Warzone and a few I know goes from SR100 to 151 in 4 months.
The wait thankfully won't be that painful if they keep us updated often, I mean I have Cyberpunk to play, Assassins creed and a bunch of other games so I hope 343i takes their time and makes this game great.

The shaders/coatings still make me furious. If I could had been in charge of it I have made alternatives to the coatings before and they just seem so much more player friendly than what 343i is doing. Predatory and uncreative af haha…
