This is the opening cutscene for Halo Infinite coming this Fall of 2021 as confirmed in an interview with 343 Industries after the “Discover Hope” trailer was showcased at E3 2019.
Humanity has been defeated by the Banished and “The Harbinger”. Now, the Pilot and Master Chief are tasked with reigniting the spark of rebellion to fight back and rise from the ashes after their defeat. I really do hope they show us some cutscenes giving context to all the shit that supposedly went down like the absence of the infinity for example. I really hope they don’t just tell us through some dialogue like what destiny likes to do.
The music from this trailer alone gives me goosebumps. I can already tell my Spotify playlist will be overwhelmed with infinite music once the soundtrack officially comes out
