Halo Infinite Should Worry You

Halo Infinite is to be frank a “make or break” game for not just the Halo franchise but for Xbox as a whole. But sadly as much as I want to get hyped for this game there seems to be too much about this game that rubs me the wrong way. Based on what we know now Halo Infinite should worry you, and every other halo fan for that matter. Because Halo Infinite is sadly poised end up being the next Destiny, Division, or Anthem. But 343 still has almost a year until Infinite’s release so hopefully they can dispel a lot of my concerns.

  1. i think you're correct with the comparison of fortnite and halo. i don't see why they would sell the singleplayer for $60 and not offer anything else in the free-to-play multiplayer

  2. Not trying to hate or Sound bad But ur definitely a bungie Stan I enjoy both 343 and bungie halo games and there’s one thing 343 got right The ability to switch seats in a warthog instead of getting out I do love Halo 3 and odst aswell as 2 CE is the most boring I guess I’m gonna get a lot of hate now

  3. Seriously when will these companies realize. Give us a damn complete product worth spending $60 on. Also I am incredibly tired of seeing loot boxes. Anybody old enough to remember when games were full and complete at launch? Anyone remember when there was no such thing as greedy and slimy ass loot boxes?

  4. In my opinion really I don’t worry a lot about a game that hasn’t come out we don’t even know if it’s good or not but that’s just my opinion Yall can have your own have a nice day 😃

  5. Look guys, here me out here. In the nicest way possible… your negativity is gonna kill halo infintes hype. Yes armour coatings suck. But the only game modes that use them are free for all and infection. Just hold out and have hope.

  6. the idea that Halo Infinite is "make or break" for both the halo franchise and xbox brand is absolutely ridiculous.
xbox will never go away, microsoft invest too much into it for it to fail. Gamepass, Xbox Live and the 25 development studios they own would continue on regardless of how Halo Infinite is received.
as for the Halo franchise there are already various things planned beyond halo infinite, be it the Halo TV show or the inevitable sequel to Halo Wars 2.

  7. the title of this video screams "i'm going to try and start a review bomb"

30 seconds into the video and you've given no info, predicted a "trainwreck launch," and plugged your own discord server. You then regurgitate a bunch of shit we already know, and falsely state info about the monetization. Solid color "armor coatings" are going to be free and will function the same as the base color system from previous games. You're fear mongering because you read a shady article from some gaming gossip site when 343 themselves said that many of the armor coatings will be free. The "skin valued at $5" was likely a placeholder.

Additionally, when they say "10 years" they mean they're going to use the Slipspace Engine and newly established lore to continue to build spinoff games instead of making more mainline titles. It's been confirmed since Halo 4 that Halo 6 (Infinite) would be the last main line Halo game. They're likely going to kill Chief and put his tired story to bed once and for all, which doesn't mean it'll be the last game featuring him, but the last game that progresses his story. There's plenty of lore to be explored and almost all of it would make great spinoff games. Halo Infinite shouldn't worry you, it should excite you. Stop being so cynical just because out of touch gaming news sites tell you to be.

  8. I really want this game to the best halo ever but it’s hard not to worry and after all this time if the game launches like halo 5 with hardly any content I think it could really damage halo overall

  9. More fearmongering I see 🤨

The real quote is “infinite will be the start of the next 10 years of halo” (paraphrasing). There is no 10 year plan for infinite. There is no way a FPS is supported for that long.
Any amount of research would of given you the right information on that.

I don’t comment a lot on YouTube but I don’t see this video as anything more than just some clickbait

  10. People always worry about micro transactions and yet they all play Fortnite. That argument is getting old, developers have now been applying micro transactions fairly for a few years now. No one is forcing you to buy anything, no one is beating you at a match made game just because they buy some armour coating.

  11. Check your facts man, they are trying to get things right for the fans. They are listening to fans. Not like other companies. Think about call of duty. You have everything to unlock but if you want certain items, you can buy them. No one has argued about that. No more random loot boxes like halo 5. They also state that the game will be content complete unlike halo 5. Also the demo that we saw was a build that was made 6 months before it was revealed. We all have our opinions but to me, I think this is the halo that will come back. Also people from bungie are coming to halo to work like Joseph staten like you mentioned. To me, that’s a major relief. Think, he has witnessed the mistakes of destiny and has been part of every halo so I think he’s go the best out for this game. I wouldn’t want anyone else. Halo infinite is a HUGE step from 4 and 5. I don’t know why everyone is being so critical. From what we’ve seen, infinite is definitely going in the right direction so i think us as fans, should step back alittle with the criticism but also continue communicating with 343 about what we want in this future game. I grew up playing all the halos my whole life. I’m alittle worried but mostly excited and looking forward to this game that will bring my childhood back in some way.

  12. I know EXACTLY what Halo Infinite needs. Horror. The first 3 halos which marked the golden age of the Halo franchise all had one thing in common. The flood. Knowing that parasite was out there plotting everyone's demise in the background always sent a chill up my spine even in the most mundane parts of those games. But with the flood out of the picture, there is a void left behind. Halo infinite needs to introduce a new scary monster to fill that void. One that is far more evil and sinister than the grunts, jackals, brutes, and elites combined. What 343 should do is add a dark and scary level in the campaign to introduce this new enemy, preferably one that takes place underground for a somewhat claustrophobic feel. Having Chief's radio signal go dead with his fellow marines during his descent would set the perfect tone of isolation. It should be so dark that the player should have to use their flashlight. This would also be the perfect level to introduce the new bulldog shotgun. Similar to how CE introduced it's shotgun with the first flood level. Ammo should be rather scarce on higher difficulties. Having chief come across some mentally broken soldiers who are scared out of their wits would also be a nice touch. But one thing that would REALLY help this is silence at the beginning. One of Halos most well known features are it's iconic music. So a level that starts with the player walking down a dark corridor so quiet you could hear a pin drop would be very unsettling for Halo.
