With this rather interesting ’10 year plan’ 343 have for Halo Infinite, the story isn’t likely to just end a the end of Halo Infinite’s campaign – I feel like at this point story DLC is all but a given, and so today I wanted to discuss some potential ideas and predications I have for Halo Infinite story DLC that are both stories/expansions that I’d love to see, and also that I think are relatively likely to happen!

i have a question i recently played threw all the halo games on both my 360 and my one and the question was what if the UNSE never went to war with the covenant? How would history have played out and what new events would have played out? i thought i bring this up because it was a interesting topic and that it was something iv seen talked about.

I really think that humanity and the Banished are more alike than different. I really don't know why they're fighting each other anyway. I think a great resolution for the campaign could be a cool twist like in Halo 2 where the humans and the Banished have to unite in order to fight the Flood and the Precursors (maybe throw some ancient humans in there somewhere?).
I was also thinking the other day about some side-missions that are playable terminals. Places where you can find terminals in the campaign and they will let you play as the main character of the terminal story and you play through the story. The possibilities of this are limitless. You could have terminals that take you back in time to the Forerunner-human war or the Fall of Reach and Noble Team (get Noble Team back without breaking the story) or play as Atriox when he formed the Banished. I think it would be a REALLY fun and interesting way to flesh out lore and story in an interactive way that would keep the campaign expanding for the next ten years. New terminals can be added as DLCs are added, but instead of being a regular DLC, you would have to find it within the campaign that you are already playing.

But before I knew I was thinking what if since buck is now a spartan what if the rookie was now a leader of his own ODST squad?

In my opinion I hope the spirit of fire gets either a dlc or some how involved in the story after all Jerome knows chiefs and a reunion would look nice.

Energy staff sounds pretty good. Especially if they have a cloak option among their pick-up abilities. I can finally see how well AvP2 experience transfers over to Halo. ;P

I cant rember when, but I know that at some point they said this will be the halo for the next 10 years, and will be something that they can build apon, and I think they even implied future campaigns that will add onto halo infinite

Cortana turns good and helps chief save everyone from the banished, mark my words, this will age well, also the guardians will look like the ones that were found in Halo 3's code, not the giant stupid ones we got in 5
DLC that takes us to new places like the Arc or Earth

Will we see Arbe again? I think/hope so, also where is blueteam and what causes chief to float in space with his armor all out of batteries
I would love to see 3 things
1. Maybe a Red Team FPS campaign, with SoF coming to Zeta Halo, having Red Team assisting Master Chief, and pursuing Atriox
2. A ODST campaign where you play as a squad, who managed to survive the main defeat of the UNSC. The objective is to link up and find other UNSC forces. This would have a working Silenced weapon for stealth
3. A Banished campaign, where you play as a member of the Banished fighting against the Created, UNSC, or even the Flood. This would be fun as hell
4. A SoS or Arbiter campaign. The SoS have came to help the UNSC fight against the Banished, and it follows a different styled campaign

I would love to have some npcs or side characters you meet disappear seemingly randomly as a way to foreshadow the flood.
Am i the only one who wants to play as a grunt
