  4. This is actually pretty funny, because Jinx won me over in Arcane but, even then, I always thought she was a LOL version of Harley Quinn. So I see this video and I think you guys got it on point, because it feels like Harley is fighting herself. XD I loved every minute of their banter too.

    I'm a long-way-back fan of Harleys, but I have to admit Jinx winning makes sense. And I do think there's a thing that puts Jinx in an advantage in likeability, even if she is a rip off of Harls. Harley is best when she's infantile insane but smart. But, being a comic book character, has gone through the hands of too many authors, with very different results, varying in quality… One of the results is this amalgame of weird powers and storylines that makes no sense and make her look like a overexploited Mary Sue. Some times she's dumbed-down dolled-up male-gaze fantasy, other times she's a boringly sane and emancipated powerhouse, others she's a wife victim of abuse at the mercy of the Joker – it's a mess. Jinx has had the advantage of not having to deal with this crap.

    Just. Going to mention that. This happens with all comic characters too. There's such a thing as too much content.

  24. Before Harley's rewrite she used to be one of my favorite DC characters. Now, however, she's become one of the more overrated and annoying characters on DC's roster. Ngl, it fet good to see this version of her get essploded

  31. this short animation is pretty solid evidence that the gag of of this rough character architype desperately needs someone or something playing the straight man. probably the only time I was actively annoyed by the fight. not a dig at the people making it, or even the characters (though I do strongly dislike League) the concept just stops being funny really fast without an anchor

  43. The result of this fight makes no sense for a handful of reasons

    1) Harley Quinn stuck dynamite in Jinx’s mouth (Which Joker did to Sweet Tooth), but Jinx is different from Sweet Tooth, she could’ve pulled out her pistol and shot it before Jinx could react

    2) Jinx has severe mental problems, so she wouldn’t keep her head straight in the fight. Meanwhile, Harley, who has a PhD in psychology, has a deep understanding of people in general, which she could’ve used to her advantage in the fight

    3) Harley’s corset is bullet proof. They even explained that in Birds of Prey

    4) Harley got increased strength from the serum. Harley has brains and brawn

    And there you have it. Wiz, Boomstick, you just got exposed
