Master Chief’s Halo Infinite model is in Fortnite with the Gravity Hammer, Warthog and Pelican. But, some people seem mad about it.

In this video we’re talking about why this is important for Halo Infinite and why it’s the perfect tie in.

  1. Thank goodness i got back into fornite a bit over a week ago after not playing for almost 7 or 8 months, master chief i had to get huge halo fan i am. I just ignore the very toxic comments i have heard and seen about the crossover, i wont let others influence me in a negative light. This is beneficial for both fortnite and halo, same as god of war and fortnite.

    Marketing>weird/cringy/funny fortnite emotes

  2. I do see why some people really like the fact that FORTNITE is going to possibly bring more of an audience to Halo, and I am definantly not against new people playing Halo. But here’s what worries me. I really don’t like that 343 is replacing the standard color system in place with these “new” “armor coatings” when in reality it more than likely just another way to get microtransactions into the game, and it worries me because when these new players that have come from FORTNITE where it is expected for you to pay for absolutely every bit of customization, they’re going to come in to Halo and think that’s it’s perfectly acceptable for you to have to pay for your Spartan to be purple and gold or white and black. And they are just going to pay for it without even thinking that it used to be free for you to customize your Spartan any way that you pleased. And that really worries me, because I don’t want to see Halo just become another money making scheme like the beginning of EA Battlefront 2.

Don’t get me wrong, I love new players, I’m just worried about what will happen to the idea of completely free customization. And I hope that Halo doesn’t become another poster child for “games that were ruined through microtransactions”

  3. Living in Japan, Halo being an xbox only game, I for one am happy that Master Chief came to Fortnite, since new Japanese gamers are being exposed to the characters and no joke, the chief reveal ad was probably the first time i ever saw anything halo advertised in Japanese, which was awesome.

  4. I mean if someone doesnt like fortnite and thinks having master chief in that game is dumb well that's their opinion right? I dont see what the big deal is or why people need to justify it lmao. We all know they added him to get more player base which also = more money simple as that.

  5. I hope fletch reads this,
There wouldn't have been a problem with halo's crossover with fortnite if 343 weren't such trend chasers.
    Hear me out,
Of course i want people to get introduced to halo. But the thing is, if we had a dev team on halo that were willing to stick to it's roots. Then when some kid would've been introduced to halo, they'd love it, become a fan, great. But because 343 is at the helm, now i can guarantee they'll steer halo towards something that it isn't. I'm just concerned infinite might become fortnite: the halo dlc. I do want new kids to come to the Franchise that i have cherished throughout my childhood but not at the cost of it losing it's bearings and going through another identity crisis situation.

  6. Even though I don't play fortnite and probably won't but I do understand that 343 do want to bring attention to halo, even though it sucks that we have to wait on infinite to release next year but I rather be polished then a recent game had suffered..

Regardless, we were all kids when we played halo, we all experienced that game with our fathers and brothers who introduced halo to us, while yeah kids today are gonna be cringe but they are kids who have little knowledge or atleast never played halo before so it does make sense to get them interested or atleast know where the master chief came from.

Halo has its crossovers and I'm sure it'll continue to be in other games somehow, I want halo to be good again and want it to be successful how it used to, if I had kids of my own I'd show them what halo meant to me when I their age back in the 2000s so in summary, its an odd marketing but understanding why they wanna do it that way.

Plus I am sure at this point the free multiplayer that is going around is battle royal

  7. I'm sure encouraging the Fortnight demographic over to the Halo universe will do wonders for the franchises future. I can only hope they can lock a dlc campaign behind a more mature rating system because how could one forget the purpose of the Halo rings… to thwart an unstoppable alien parasite that transforms it's enemies into a grotesque body horror, a bloody display of viscera and screaming agony. Quite literally the most feared thing in the galaxy, the big bad. Surely they aren't gonna ignore such a thing, they gonna make them cell shaded and give them bling packs?, oh and when you shoot them they vaporise into pink fairy dust and drop gems, probably not but you can sure bet it's gonna be heavily diluted in order to appeal to a new target audience. Halo is very much alive and doesn't need this crossover. Sorry I'm such a miserable bastard. This is just an opinion not fact. Keep up the great content, this channel is terrific.

  8. Oh, so heads up to Warframe Players: Excalibur will be in Fortnite as a skin because Tencent is doing a crossover with all the games they own and Fortnite and vise versa… so Halo ain’t the only crossover we getting (even tho Halo is 343’s item)

  9. The reason why I am sad and mad that chief is in fortnite is because mainly I don’t need spamming annoying five year olds defaulting on me as chief, that alone would mentally scar me for life again I have nothing against fortnite as a game I just get really tired of the toxicity and salt and overall douchness of the majority of the fortnite community. The only reason I play it at all is because my cousins and uncle play it and they live in New York so I rarely see them since live in Minnesota

  10. I cant wait till Halo becomes rated E. No blood, no guns, no rings. The Master Chief will be retired, we have to take on the VA, and vacation time with Arby. We still won't see his face though. He'd be wearing a mask to keep his face from being burned since it's never seen the light in decades.

  11. i think we should not appreciate chief in fortnite. Why? because if toxic 12 year olds from fortnite gets interested in halo, sure halo's popularity will rise, but the halo community will be toxic like nuclear waste. there will be trash talkers in every game we play, and that could also influence halo's popularity

  12. Halo 4 is absolutely the worst halo game I’ve ever played. It is so much worse in almost every way and halo five except character riding I suppose. Halo five campaign wasn’t me fun to play through. And the multiplayer I still think it’s good, just not what makes halo good…
