This game pops up everywhere atm. Aggressive marketing campaign or is this game better than meets my eye?
In case of Phlinger, I can see that playing something different and refreshing, that is similiar enough to Ark for his audience has it's appeal tho.
I mean, it looks way more casual than Ark (less timesink, more forgiving), which is neither a good nor a bad thing. And it looks almost mobile ready (dunno if there's a mobile version).
Now that I think about it, this game probably has a bigger market than Ark. It's just not what I would choose to play over the "original".

This game is amazing, from the physics, to floating logs, to tides. I love this game!

Alright so on scorched earth you found the t-rex triangle, but is there something like that on Ragnarok cuz i haven’t found anything useful

Nice catch for the core wood on the lean-tos! I think the horizontal beams making the top of the lean-tos are also core wood – they are round instead of rectangles like regular beams are.

You really need to go kill the first boss to get access to the pickaxe to get copper and get better tools, but after the first boss you need to find some Delves, but for the first boss you need 2 deer heads to summon him.
Phlinger should do vids with other people like his patrons or cheese
Core wood comes from pine, you can find pine at the edges of the black forest they are taller than the firs.

just so you know if you put a workshop down at the abandon buildings you can take it apart easily with your hammer

Keep it up Phlinger I’m really enjoying this series and the game looks cool. Really looking forward to when you start fighting some of the bosses and to seeing you start to get metal tools, weapons etc, it should really get interesting then.
This game isn't even available for the PS4, but I still need to watch some Phlinger, so here I am.
Listen to this phlinger I'm fighting an alpha carno right and a level 1 RAPTOR POUNCES ME (im on switch) and I die and lose my argentavis 150 perfect game and my stuff then where im based your place season 4 and yes not happy with my lost I got off then in the morning get back on mr.giga go mom and eats my whole base and my.kibble farm (again switch doesn't have new kibble) so then I gotta restart I lost everything M on passive and escaped on only a level 34 Peterson my first flyer now I'm back out my beginning shack in the foot paw and I'm starting again
The music is so soothing…
