Grow up America. U all sound like children right now .
I woulda left
Which school district is this? This is atrocious! 😡
THAT IS DISCRIMINATION!!
MAKE SURE AND CHANGE THAT RULE
That's white supremacist america for you. Don't be fooled.
RACE BAIT ALERT * FAKE NEWS ALERT! *
Heartbreaking😢
Rules are rules…..dont like it then play elsewhere……..same rule applies to everybody so keep your racist claims to yourself
Beautiful young girl, but I agree with the baseball umpire. The problem wasn’t her braids only the beads. Had those beads come off, someone could have had a serious fall.
It's a rule. Not discrimination. My god these people are nuts on here . No jewelry means no jewelry.
This happens to boys all the time. Dreadlocks, corn rows, straight long hair, you name it. Long hair has nothing whatsoever to do with how intelligent or assiduous a guy is. No one attributes that stereotype to women (with minor exceptions). Yet for guys it's seen as "disgraceful" or not "clean-cut" (a stupid word, by the way). Often colleges or employers will force them to get a haircut. Total double standard.
As usual, everyone claims everything is racist or discriminatory because the rules are offensive.
Interesting how society keeps slowly devaluing those words.
That umpire was power tripping
Just wondering how the beads interfere with safety.
Ridiculous. What is wrong with people? What's the difference between a bead or a damn barret? That poor child and her hair👀 I think I would have slapped the piss out of someone for messing with my child's hair in such a way! They should have called dad or mom.
It wasn't about African American Heritage
It wasn't about slavery.
She HAS PLASTIC BEADS in her hair while wearing a helmet and it is a safety issue. We have lawyers and litigation in America. That is why we have sport's rules and regulations. Everyone in the story is twisting a racial narrative and it's very obvious.
Why would she have to cut off her beads if she has the helmet on?
no words
Anyone think that Troy Palumalu should have some input on this? Dude played football with his hair covering his name and number during his career.
It’s not the braids though.. it’s the beads 🥴
It's astonishing to run into people on social media who don't understand the resentment this community feels when non-black women are praised and collect online "clout" for wearing traditional African braided styles while black Americans are still penalized and subject to public punishments for embracing their own cultural hairstyles 400 years later.
School: what constitution? Free speech? 1st ammendmant? Never heard of it?
She should of left. They would of lost the game and beg her back.
This is why white people should wear black hair styles not while this is happening.
Doesn't that rule apply to everyone?
Let’s continue to boycott ABC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, FoxNews, MSNBC, NYT, USA Today, NBC, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Newsweek, Time, The Guardian, HBO, TMZ, HuffPost, Facebook and Coca Cola, Disney, Hollywood, Gillette, Burger King etc. Go to Aussie TV to get the truth.
Rules are rules
She dumb for cutting it
Forced ??? This is why news is fake. She was not forced to cut her hair. She could have choose to sit out or take the beads out. Nothing racist about it. It’s a rule in the rule book and just like every youth sport it is inconsistent. Quit making everything about race
Looks like all these puppets on this channel didn’t listen that she didn’t have to cut her hair… English, take out the braids or sit on the bench? You fucking pigeons , she choose to cut her own hair.
