Hitman 3 – Before You Buy (Short)

Hitman 3 (PC, XBOX Series X, PS5) You will get ripped off if you pay $60 for this game. It has no new content and will drop in price within 3-6 months. On top of that, I guarantee you that it is going to have only 5 full playable maps with a season pass announced right at launch. Here’s the YouTube Short version!

Before you go and leave a dislike, why don’t you actually listen to what I have to say? I’m not making this video out of hate for Hitman. I actually love the series and want to see it get better. Anyone who can acknowledge how little these games are compared to older ones and not be upset is just a clown.

“But the levels are replayable.” I’m sorry, is that a new thing to Hitman? No, that is EXPECTED. I EXPECT Hitman levels to be replayable and filled with multiple opportunities and outcomes. So no, I’m not going to say “wow good job IO Interactive,” for doing the bare minimum in their games. No, I actually have standards for stealth games, and when games 1, 2, and 3 come out, they should have everything the prior game had, AND MORE. Any GOOD game series has always done that.

ESPECIALLY when running on the same engine. All the parent codes are made. Objectives, side-quests, dialogue setup, AI code, all of that has been made from Hitman 1. So I’m sorry, what has IO’s graphics team done? Their storyline team? Their animations teams? You are really going to tell me that it takes a full year to make SIX LEVELS?? Lmao I can make six levels in a month BY MYSELF in the Unreal Engine 4, and yet this team can only do 6 in a year?

Oh but bet your ass they’re ready to charge you for a bullshit season pass for useless content like outfits and stupid items that don’t impact the game in any way.

Again, if you are PASSIONATE about videogames, then you should agree. I get it if you’re a casual gamer. There’s nothing against you and it makes total sense if you don’t care. But don’t go tell me you’re some serious gamer and are content with the crap this studio has put out. And f**k the bullshit reviews from ACG and Gameranx. I used to respect their videos until I saw them have literally no standards for what a full game should have.
