  1. Sorry to rage on your wonderful channel but this update really screws PC players. It forces them to rebuy hitman 2 in order to access it in hitman 3. Their reasoning is completely irrelevant when it's contrary to what they've been saying (and still say) on their website. Big f u from io interactive, five days before release

  3. So this release has completely screwed PC owners. According to their latest blog, you own Hitman 2 Gold Editon Steam for PC you have to pay roughly $20-$30 AUD to just get the levels for Hitman 3, or roughly $10-$15 AUD for the Standard Edition. This is complete crap. If you own a game, you have to pay extra to get something you ALREADY OWN. Is IO seriously saying there’s no way to link a game payed for on Steam to an IO account and then link your Hitman 3 game to that account?? If you can choose to move content from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3, you had to have PAYED for the game to do this, but yet apparently you can just get progression and no levels UNLESS you pay the 80% discount – which sure isn’t enough but it’s stupid. Why is this?? Many other devs for different games have gotten around this, I don’t understand :l

  4. Kinda feel like IO seriously screwed over PC players. No VR, and we have to repurchase Hitman 2 content. Even though IO should already have the fact we OWN Hitman 2 on our IO accounts? How the hell could Hitman 2 progression transfer no problem but somehow THE FACT WE OWN THE FUCKING GAME doesn't transfer with the same progression data? IO screwed PC gamers by switching to EGS for no apparent reason.

  5. They might be getting rid of the phone because of dubai with all the water it could bug out the game if too many people dies with it, or there is a super obvious exploit with some new gameplay mechanic. Also what a big F you to PC gamers first the epic exclusive bullshit then no (as of yet) PCVR news no the people that get the EGS version have to buy the content again.

  6. I don’t know if I want to do this. I might have to since I don’t know if we will be getting the old elusive targets again and I don’t want to lose out on those suits, but still. I didn’t end up playing the hitman 2 missions until I had finished all the first games ones again. It was so much extra content and sooo worth it. I almost feel I’m robbing myself of content but again I don’t wanna lose the elusive target suits

  7. Hey, could anybody help me?

Under my Dad's Xbox Live Gold account, years ago I got Hitman 1 for free (as accounts were linked under Xbox Family). Whilst tied to that family, I myself bought Hitman 2 (Gold Edition) and transferred the Hitman 1 maps onto Hitman 2 via the legacy packs.

Since then, I have bought a Series X, meaning that I have my own Xbox Live Gold account and no longer have access to games shared via the Xbox Family. With Hitman 3, I will be able to get Hitman 2 content free, but I am unsure about Hitman 1.

Would I be able to get Hitman 1 content free because I have the legacy packs, or will I have to pay again? Thanks

  8. I’m not buying Hitman 2 again on top of buying Hitman 3 at full price, I already bought it twice. Once for console and once on Steam after getting a new PC. I’m not playing it with a gamepad either because of all of the precise aiming you need to do. Guess I’ll just save my money or wait 12 entire sodding months for a Steam version. I hope IO are happy with their ill-gotten bribe. The loss of PC sales will easily negate that.

  9. As a PC gamer, I don't want to participate in an exclusivities race on PC, so I prefer that my purchase to count towards the second big wave of sales that will take place at the Steam release. For what it's worth, it's one of the only ways I see to show my disagreement with this practice.

We've already accepted a lot of things, it may not be too late not to accept the appropriation of communities by force of money.

The announcement, a few days before the release, that we're going to have to buy the content of Hitman 2 even though we already have it on Steam, is clearly the last straw. There's not that problem on consoles, the limits of these PC exclusives are clearly in front of us here, the consumer has to pay the price, and I really refuse to be part of that.

To nuance anyway, I understand very well the choice of IOI, when you're indie and you're offered a check for several millions to finance your game, how can you refuse?

(sorry if my english isn't perfect)

  10. I’d completely understand if the game was pvp and it was op but it’s a single player game if you don’t want to use it you don’t have to I completely disagree with their decision but either way I’m hyped

  11. Thanks for the explanation, Freeze. Looking forward to playing Hitman 3 very soon. I’m sure you’re right that these lengthy instructions could be simplified. Console-wise it seems to work like the previous Hitman.

  12. I never preorder games, except Rockstar's one because i'm sure they are bomb, even before viewing a test of them.
I loved every Hitman games, a bit less Absolution, but it is what it is, and none can blame them to try something new.
I will preorder this one, i'm sure if they made their move on EGS instead of Steam is because they probably have a better financial deal, for that none can blame them either.
It's not cool to don't possess it next to the other ones on Steam, but i'll get over it. The only infuriating thing is to have to buy H2 at 20% price to get it on EGS inside H3, especially if the only way to progress in it after the progression carryover is done is to play it in H3.
See ya the 20th boys !!!
