  1. Does anyone know if I can buy a physical version of Hitman 2 to play claim the access pass in Hitman 3, if I then own Hitman 2 digitally in Hitman 3 and no longer have the need for the physical disc?

  2. I did notice I prefer how they did the reflections in 2 over 3 specifically for the floor in the main lobby for the Bank level, I don't think it looks as nice in 3, other than that great game and much better than 2.

  3. Its insane… On PC this game not only looks better than Hitman 2 but it runs WAY better too. I'm stunned quite honestly. With hitman 2 I had to lower a couple settings from max and run it at 3200×1800 to get 60fps on a 2080ti ftw3 ultra.

Now I have the game maxed out running at 4k but with 25% super sampling (done via game settings) and I still get 60fps. Omg it looks so good and their reflections look better than ray traced ones without the performance penalty. I love it.

  4. Why would IO interaction introduce raytracing to fix a few minor reflection imperfections at the risk of breaking the games performance, that would make zero sense! The one thing that annoys me about DF is the laser focus on presentation even when a game looks and plays fine to 95% of gamers, sheesh!

  5. I hope we will see more games that are only next gen soon. I heard that the next God of War will also be cross gen. I guess it makes sense when there are 5 million PS5s but 120 million PS4s. But they won't be able to take advantage of true openworld data streaming and the Zen 2 cores as long as they have to adjust for Jaguar cores. 🙁

  6. Couple questions. So is he saying series x plays the old maps at native 4K also?

Also when he says about the patch for ray tracing does that drop it to 30 FPS or a dif mode I assume?

  7. idk digital foundry how is this right
xbox one x doesn't have hdr like ps4 pro or a 60fps mode, then the pro has higher shadows than series s, heck u all even missed that even og ps4 has an unlocked framerate mode, then ps5 they left at 1800p, i think this should be called out instead saying it's the way/cross gen done completely right

  8. Everything looks really plastic, it's odd. And at 7:40 those trees just suddenly pop in, it's so jarring. I can't believe John was talking about the new trees but completely failed to notice or remark about them just teleporting into view.
Nice delivery as always, JL is definitely my favourite DF'er

  9. I've lost all trust in Digital Foundry after this video. You so downplayed all the issues with this game. This is the most disasterours launch I've ever come across. My dad says the same thing and he's been around for every generation of console. The issues are many and huge rendering the game unplayable.
