HITMAN 3 – The Best Unlocks for an Assassin in Trilogy

[*]

HITMAN 3 and its the best unlocks you can find in the Trilogy so far – it includes all potential inventory items that can be earned since HITMAN CFS to HITMAN 3. Remember it is a personal opinion by me, most of these unlocks are by far in my opinion the most practical and pretty much can save a lot of time. For example lockpicks and key hackers – you can live without these but you must either look for correct keys, loud crowbar, keycards or RFID cards to unlock all of the doors on map. Remote & Micro Device are so far really lethal in the hands of a Silent Assassin because noone can see these devices in your hands and they are quite universal. Tasers are items that always procure an accident – not only you can electrocute targets, but sparks are also enough to ignite gas leaks or flammable liquids, in both cases it is also an accident. Remote Micro Explosives however, are more a safe method to detonate other explosives such as propane flasks without risk of spotting such device by NPC. You can also blow the winches safely, without exposing yourself with silenced pistol. HITMAN 3 also introduced a successor of Sieger 300 Ghost Sniper Rifle from HITMAN 1 GOTY, HACKL Leviathan – but it also has a piercing perk, so be aware because projectiles go through multiple targets. RIP Electrocution Phone [*]

  2. I hate that IOI got rid of the electrocution phone, all they had to do was restrict that tool for elusive targets. I know they could’ve done that since almost every escalation has restricted load outs.

  3. Hey Martinoz, I know it may not fit the bill entirely but I think Fire Extinguishers deserve a mention.
They can unlock doors, the explosions cause accident knockouts so they won’t spoil Silent Assassin if a NPC’s body is found.
I’ve found they are most useful in Marrakesh and Miami… everybody’s mileage may differ.

  4. I personally think the custom 5mm pistol is the best, easy to unlock (unlike the Kruegermeier) it is also suppressed, and it can not be found in frisks. Also if you don’t have the tranquilizer, the Concealable Baton is amazing for quick stealth takedowns. Instead of having to subdue people which can put you in a vulnerable spot, you can just hit them on the back of the extremely quickly.

  5. I've noticed three major bugs within HITMAN 3 that actually anger me. One of them is the character model freezing. Both NPCs and Targets tend to randomly freeze, make a pose, and never move at all unless given a distraction or knocking them out. The second is being stuck in hiding, in which the game will randomly lock me inside closets/crates and won't let me out. The third is invisible walls. This one's interesting, and so far, I've noticed this one in Isle of Sgáil, Marrakesh, Colorado, and Miami. When covering behind a wall, 47 would just get stuck, and won't move at all, which causes all kinds of havoc when caught. Besides that, the game is good.
