  1. Also there's a few things you need to understand because I keep hearing you say it. Firstly the 7.5 billion has not exchanged hands yet. Secondly all of that money will be going to the soon to be previous owners of Zenimax. Literally none of that money will go to Zenimax that would be equivalent to Microsoft paying itself.

  2. Altman didn't found Bethesda Christopher Weaver did, Altman was brought in by Weaver to be the CEO of ZeniMax to which Altman thanked him by forcing him out of his own company and generally being a greedy dick who gradually was running the company into the ground, oh yeah and he also almost went to prison and was banned from banking for his corruption.

  3. Robert Altman co-founded Zenimx (not Bethesda) in 1999 with Christopher Weaver. Christopher Weaver founded Bethesda Softworks in 1986. Christopher Weaver was the CEO when The Elder Scrolls and other games were created.

  4. Weren't there all these leaks and reports saying what an evil tyrant he was? I was under the impression, that he is basically the devil of the industry. So I am surprised to hear so much praise suddenly. Maybe I confuse him with somebody else. I am bad with names.

  5. Robert A Altman is the great guy who made all his money from representing the Bank of Credit and Commerce International in Washington. This Pakistan based bank was involved in money laundering and fraud until it was shut down by an investigation led by several European and American governments. During Robert's trial, one of the biggest fraud trials ever, he represented himself and was acquitted, but was banned from ever representing banking interests ( he is a lawyer) ever again. The fact that law agencies and juries couldn't understand the facts of the long trial led to reforms of the legal process. Simple journalism and needed for a rounded obituary. His money may have saved Bethesda but now you know where it came from.

  6. Robert Altman was know to be a snake salesman, he is not innocent in the slightest when its about corruption and defraud central banking departments in order to obtain licenses to operate a bank.
People should seriously look up who that guy truly is..

He´s better off not being in charge at Zenimax and Bethesda.

But my condolences go to his family and i wish them well..

  7. If you want to know how to pronounce "Koch Media", then just use google translator. Translate "cook" from english into german and use that pronounciation button.

…Even though Koch Media is austrian and not german, i think the word is pronounced similar in both countries. So no, it has nothing to do with genitalia, except if we're talking about Hannibal Lecter.

  8. Suddenly a lot of things start to make sense.Bethesda’s poor management over the past few years and the Microsoft acquisition are all very telling. Robert Altman was likely sick for a few years now and knew his time was coming. Anytime someone wealthy dies the family or relatives all start to bickering, fussing and fighting about wanting their piece of the pie. I’m sure Bethesda’s overly greedy business decisions over the past few years and now the Microsoft acquisition are all due to family members wanting their cut of the Altman piggy bank.
