It costs 1,000 VP “Premium” to unlock & begin the Season 2 Battle Pass progression.
There are 2 methods to progress through the Battle Pass: XP & VP
XP | Tier 1 requires 3,000 XP to unlock. Each following tier requires an additional 1,000 XP per level, for a total of 1,375,000 XP required to unlock the entire battle pass.
VP | Every tier costs 300 VP to unlock, for a total of 15,000 VP to unlock the entire battle pass (+1,000 initial premium)

It's kind of annoying that this sword doesn't use the same inspect animation as the prime or sovereign melees and instead uses the regular knife inspect animation. It's still looks sick so I can't complain much.
its alright, but that inspect animation is literally the default knife one, why not just use the prime axe animation?
