Hollow Knight Pogo Mechanic is Extremely Fun

A video collection of Hollow Knight bosses and enemies that were Pogo. From day one of playing Hollow Knight, I always found the pogo mechanic to be very addictive and fun to use. When used properly you can avoid almost 50% of incoming enemies attack while dealing some decent damage. I made this video to show some interesting things you can do with the nail pogo mechanic and how easy it can be to cheese most bosses. The pogo shown in this video includes spike pogo, pogo jumping, and pogo exploits.

  1. PoGo early game was the cool bonus thing you can do and only completionists need to do it (Deepnest soul vessel/Shiro's house, connectiin between Q garden and Green path), but Path of Pain and Abs Rad made it necessity.

  2. prior to PoP i seriously under-utilized pogoing, partly because I sucked at it before then, then I realized how useful it could be against enemies and now I do it whenever I get the chance (but you are def pogo champion, didn't even realize some of that stuff was.. pogo-able)

  3. This man is a showoff (and i love it) when i saw radiance after my hell of a time against her, for context i beat the game 1 time and she was my final boss (further context on using her and she: a friend calls her moth momma and i have started doing so as well)

  4. Now when I get to God home I'm just gonna try and pogo on all the bosses.

Also, I looked through some comments and people were having trouble with NKG… so here's how I beat him on my 3rd/4th try:
When he goes pufferfish fireballs, do what you'd do for normal Grimm, but faster.
When he comes down and dashes left or right, completely avoid him.
When he just dashes toward you from the ground, shadow dash through him. If you're quick enough, you can turn around and hit him. Sharp Shadow is recommended to get some extra damage.
The fire pillars are fairly easy- he only summons four. So, if you need to heal, walk in one direction, and as the pillars come, count. When four starts up, get away and heal. You should have time for at least one mask to heal.
(I forgot how I did his bat attack. I'll edit it in when I remember)
The charms I used were, and my memory is a bit foggy:
Grimmchild: It's a requirement to enter, duh.
Sharp Shadow: To damage him if I dash through him
    Grubsong: Extra soul
    Quick Focus: Heal faster
    Defenders Crest(Maybe): Extra damage
Thorns of Agony(Maybe): Again, extra damage
    Don't question me.
