  1. So I’m guessing you guys hated the Mario movie…? You guys don’t like Japanese content. That’s pretty obvious from your other videos. We get it!

  2. While I 100% agree and find it accurate that this is how Hollywood would be like, if they film the Mario movie, you guys seem to forget that Mario and Luigi used to speak like regular people with Brooklyn accents back in the 80s and 90s, since they are from Brooklyn, New York. Have you guys not heard of an old 80s cartoon show, “Super Mario Bros. Super Show?” WWE wrestler, Captain Lou Albano, and Danny Wells were the OG Mario brothers. If they go with the voices from the games, I feel like it’s not gonna fit; it would be kind of weird and annoying. Understand that video games and movies are two totally different things; Mario and other characters from the games didn’t have that much dialogue, a movie needs to have dialogue. You guys need to stop complaining about everything and try to give something a chance for once, before you jump into conclusions. I’m just saying. Anyway, Chris Pratt actually did the high-pitched voice really well in the plumbing commercial scene in the movie. I thought Chris Pratt and Charlie Day were actually great choices, to be honest. I thought the movie was great, since it is made Illumination with Miyamoto being involved in it; even the ratings for it is great.

  3. Honestly, I was expecting Mario to go in like an Itallian mobster joke, or for Miyamoto to step in and go full Yakuza, making it abundantly clear that the studio does as Nintendo says, or the execs get punished. So we see an exec losing fingers every time he tries to change the script to contrary to what Miyamoto says. Up until the exec is just missing his whole arm, then an eye, then a leg, then the exec is just not present, with Miyamoto just cleaning blood off of a katana. And Mario negotiating pay like a mobster with the Mario Bros movie cast all looking intimidating.

The execs basically made to bow down to Nintendo's strict Japanese style rules, and only doing what seems passable. Writers who bow down and do as Nintendo says, don't get hurt. Then you get the blue-haired land whales who bitch thinking they are not heard by Nintendo get caught and executed silently by a ninja with the Nintendo logo on a metal plate covering their forehead.

I can see Mario and Luigi dressed like Yakuza and Miyamoto is first all smiles when pitching the movie. Then some woke storyboarder tries to "subvert expectations" by pitching Peach as the big hero "who don't need no man", and Miyamoto immediately looks FURIOUS, in that intense Yakuza way. Peach walks up and just MURDERS the exec who pitched it with a gold club, and then we see Donkey Kong and Bowser drag the twitching corpse away. And Miyamoto speaking only in Japanese in that intimidating Yakuza tone, Mario and Luigi both cracking their knockles like Mafia muscle. Miyamoto's words are in blunt terms translated either by Mario or Luigi interpreting, or via subtitle: "The movie is called 'Super Mario Bros', not 'Super Princess Peach', this is a movie about Mario's rise as a hero. Saving Luigi makes sense, but half of the movie must be about Mario. If I must repeat myself, you will be punished for it".

Because SERIOUSLY! Nintendo is SUPER STRICT about their IPs, and they don't want a repeat of the live action film. Nintendo kept a strict watch over the production of the movie, and made sure no woke shit got into it. I imagine Nintendo and their lawyers were Yakuza level intense, and scared the execs into compliance… I imagine some "woke" writer lost at least a pinky to Nintendo's wrath for trying to make it about Peach.

I can also see possible behind the scenes shenanigans that if Luigi doesn't get a lot of screen time, he's being dragged away by Daisy for some "fun backstage" if you know what I mean, weather he wants to or not. So Luigi's behavior on set will seem more genuine.
