  1. @yumytv I saw your comment on beacon of virtue, but I'm thinking I might disagree, what do you think of this:

I just tested beacon of virtue over my last couple dungeons, and man, I quite like it I have to say. In heavy aoe damage in bfa situations, I could rely on my glimmers to keep my group alive (e.g. tantrum etc.), but I doubt that will work for pridefuls. Even if it does do a significant amount of overall healing, I've been thinking that it's too passive and doesn't do enough healing when it really matters. Beacon of virtue on the other hand is on a 15sec cd, and it even gives you holy power when casting flash of light or holy light, which synergizes well with infusion of light. It is a godsend when paired with kyrian toll, that is like 5 lay on hands if you heal that target without the beacon on it. Overall I've just found it makes for a much smoother and more reliable run where I am not struggling to have a CD leftover for every slightly sticky situation. I find myself pressing wings / HA / AM a lot less now than with the glimmer build, which gives me more options when we overpull or are otherwise faced with actual heavy incoming damage.

The biggest downside to this is obviously the lack of DPS provided by glimmer as well as the loss of a real beacon, which like you mentioned can be quite useful to put on weaker team members like mages at times, so not having that option does suck. Still, I find having that huge healing boost every 15sec is powerful, given how weak the holy paladin throughput is currently. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this.

  2. I play ret and will raid as ret. But group with friends as holy for torgahst and heroic/mythic dungeons, going to roll relentless Inquisitor as a duel leg (even though I have the sun well one too) 🙂

  3. Avenging crusader has saved me and my group soooo many times. I would love an in depth decision between it and the alternatives. Its just really hard for me to put it down. Thanks!

  4. Love the content. New player and having ALL the respective abilities on screen when you're talking about them and keeping them up for a nice amount of time is so useful and makes its very enjoyable to watch!

Keep up the great work 🙂

  5. I don't agree on glimmer of light especially in mythic+, it does mostly overhealing and the overall value of the heal is ridiculously small (in the hundreds) to be even remotely viable in heavy aoe dmg fights. Beacon of virtue with 15 seconds cd and combined with Infusion of Light proc then Holy light is an amazing life saver in heavy aoe situations (were the hpally struggles the most). With glimmer, if divine toll is on cooldown, when a bit of shit aoe dmg happens hpally are mostly useless. All of the things i've said are for pushing content not for doing mythic0 with 180ilvl. Maybe for raid where u somehow manage to keep glimmer on 6-7+ targets it would be viable but even so, the effort of holy shocking targets without the glimmer to apply it on them is not worth the time. Thanks, hope this helps some1 struggling with hpally in aoe 😀

  6. Love the videos but please try providing some alternatives for people who aren't picking kyrian. Some people play more than just mythic+, or just don't like the kyrian theme so went with something else. Or just change the title to "Kyrian Holy Paladin Guide", since a lot of this is irrelevant for other covenants.
