RJ Barrett recorded a team-high 24 PTS (21 PTS, 7-9 FG, 5-6 3pt FG in the 2nd half), including a career-high tying 6 3PM for the Knicks, while Julius Randle (16 PTS, 10 REB, 7 AST) and Derrick Rose (17 PTS, 8-12 FG) added 33 PTS in the victory. P.J. Washington led all scorers with 26 PTS (6-10 3pt FG) for the Hornets in the losing effort. The Knicks improve to 32-27 on the season, while the Hornets fall to 28-29.

  15. Knicks need to lock up Derrick Rose, Reggie Bullock, Elfrid Payton, Nerlens Noel & Taj Gibson. These veterans are the heart and souls of this team. Randle might be the engine but I love the team’s chemistry, physicality, unselfish play and continuity. We have a boat load of draft picks and cap space to make this team into a beast. We just need to implement Pat Riley’s Knicks philosophy of “ NO Layup”. If you come down the lane be prepared to be put on your back.
