How A Player Lost The HIGHEST RANK In League of Legends

League of Legends is one of many games to have a ranked mode. Every year players take this mode very seriously in hopes of reaching the highest ranks. Although being Gold in League of Legends is all that is necessary for getting the end of season rewards, at some point players want more. Challenger is a rank that refers to the very best players in the game. Today we take a look at one player who was minutes away from achieving this goal but it all fell apart due to being a couple minutes late at the end of the ranked season.

  1. What a bunch of pathetic human beings, this game isn't only full of inters and trolls, people will also do anything to make you suffer till the end, and to be honest, this guy himself is kinda ridiculous

  2. I’m still kinda new to league as I was playing since S11 only, but the question is, can you still be promoted to higher elo rn when it’s pre-season? Bc one of my friends in game got promoted to p3 from g4 when it was already after the end of the season. So, if you still can climb, then can someone pls explain to me what’s the deal with not reaching chall before nov 16? Because if you still can climb, you still can teach chall now… yeah it won’t say that you’re chall in s11 but you can become one now, no?

  3. Honestly this is one of the main reasons, why there is a minority who refuses to play ranked. Am just down right disgusted by the amount of shady shit in the background. Wintrading, boosting, stalling… Worst part is, that it will never stop, since this rat behavior is in our human nature. You either embrace it or you let it go and try to look deeper in to something else than yourself.

  5. Tbh if you don't know what "challenger" means in league it sounds like you are a noob "challenging" other player while grand master sounds like you've already beat all challenges.

  6. I feel for this guy. Really hope it didn't affect him too negatively, sure not getting a rank while putting in so much effort sucks but you tried. He got robbed of it, no honour in high elo. Learned that the hard way myself, too many players get more enjoyment out of fucking with people than playing the game.

Unjust shit like this hurts on a deep level for me personally, had to avoid ranked for a long time now because of it. Winning is fun, having a good game and still losing is fun, but when it is completely out of your control and the gameplay makes no difference… you are just at the mercy of some horrible people. In the end they are the winners and don't give a shit. Sad state of competitive gaming when it is a passion for many.

yeah not good for your mental health.

  7. i understand how he must feel but to be honest he had like a whole season to ramp up lp and to play better overall. It's not like he could blame his missing success on this timespan of 3-ish hours. He seems to be a good player nonetheless
