DYSON SPHERE PROGRAM
Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy
game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources, plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire
Combining Factorio and Satisfactory on a Galactic scale!
ABOUT THE GAME
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone
KEY FEATURES
◇ Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
◇ Develop your very own Dyson Sphere, a megastructure that orbits
around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw
to its completion
◇ Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
◇ Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen,
gaseous planets…
◇ Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover
the secrets of the universe
◇ Build mechas to fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets
◇ Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of
transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
◇ Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
◇ Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
◇ Design a balanced power network, producing energy in all kinds of
power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars… through conveyor
belts, and you’ve got technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools
COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line

A geodesic is the line on a surface that connects two points in the shortest distance. In case of curved surfaces like the surface of a sphere, the geodesic appears curved when projected onto another surface. (I. E. Viewed in 3D)
Not sure if you’d noticed, but you misplaced one of the suns on your “power Pole”. There should be one more in the outer circle.
One of the artificial suns at your "Power Pole" is out of position. It's in the outer ring.
Enjoyed the tutorial, but definitely missed the let’s play. 😁
Temple of effectiveness…lol…love it
Could you timelapse the Dyson sphere being created? Love the content!
If you completely encapsulate a star with a Dyson sphere, do the planets in that system still have day/night cycles?
"It's a little bit fat in the middle. So am I, whatever"
I'm in love with this wholesome humor
really impressive to watch
very enjoyable episode thnx
A little question – what would happen, if the EM rail ejectors were on the north pole of a planet (preferably close to the star), and entry point for dyson swarm above north pole of the star? Theoretically, this should keep the "target" for ejectors always above horizon, maximizing utilization.
There is a small error in one of the points on the second crown, visible near the mouse at around 40:46, I believe the poleward vertex of the outer ring is placed one tile too close to the pole. F.
I'm in ICU under heavy medical care after missing a video for 1 day. I think even 1 per day wasn't enough!
Hey Nilaus. I really enjoy your videos. Good work. At times when you build something in the timelap – could you blend in the real life time it took? Also if you do a time skip. Would help me a lot to choose how big i build my stuff at my spare free time.
this missing purple cube is just an advanced technology to mesure time =)
btw i started watching your series over DSP and now i finished ONI and will probly take a look on others. Thanks for your videos, you're an excellent engineer 😉
Aaaaaaargh that's one less sun in the Southern power pole.
Let's play vid or tutorial vid, doesn't matter, I love them both!
almost died yesterday (??), your tutorial video was too short (??)
great video Nilaus! absolutely stunning the start of the new dyson sphere
Nilaus keep suprising me with such astonishing builds and views. Keep the good work.
There should have been a pun warning posted… <– used to engineer pole, cabling, equipment, etc. for a telecomm.
Hi, great videos ! But….. HOW DO YOU COPY SORTERS WITH THE COPIED OBJECTS ????? Please let me know !!! ( Mon anglais est affreux, j'espère que tu comprendras….)
I missed not having an episode yesterday. They are the best on this game by far !
Also you miss placed a node on the southern flower in the Dyson Sphere but that's surely for efficiency reasons XD
I thought that was an ocean planet so I was really confused when you started building on top of it
wonderful
Epic launch Nilaus!
As an amateur astronomer (been my hobby for over 10y now) and physics student it's a star, not a sun. "the Sun" is a name we gave 1 star… ours! Every other star in the universe is not a sun!
Lower Sphere pole, outer crown: you misplaced one node one chunk closer to the pole than others. Watch carefully around 39:55
Marvelous!!
This Gentleman has more cool things I would like to follow in the future.
You should do a small timelapse, like 20-30min of the sphere being built
while this dyson sphere is cool as hell with the crowns and all that, it irks me a little you arent harnessing the full power of the star, at least even mostly covering it to get a lot of power but still have designs, theres a lot of empty space. but backseating is no good, if i wanted the game played how i wanted it to i should buy it
You could reverse the polarity at the poles, by just making the belts in the opposite direction… 😀
You can even draw a dyson sphere with no grid at all. Really nice what they did with that part of the game that is so different from the rest
