➤About
This is a Game Development video about making games in Unity as well as other game engines and frameworks. At some point in the future I would like to try Game Engine such as Godot or Gamemaker. I wish this 2 Years of Learning Game Development video could be longer. I used languages like c# and C++ to make my game.

  1. This video serves as an intermission before I start to transition to a new style of content I want to try out bringing, potentially, weekly videos. I'm posting a lot of stuff to do with it over on my twitter so be sure to head over and leave a follow : ) https://twitter.com/BarjiYT

  2. Happy 2 years! It's very inspiring to watch other devs and their journies in videos such as these I must say, it's incredible to see where you started and where you are now 🙂 Though, I gotta ask, Chicken Slapper V2 coming when? And I expect that voice actor from the video to feature in it ;D

  3. I started my game development journey 2 years ago. I'm still just messing around with projects and joining small jams. I feel frustrated when looking back, but I forget how far I've come. You've made me realize that there's no better time to get into game development than now.

  6. About your terrible 2D platformer. I‘ve been making games in GMS2 for 3 months. And now I’m making a terrible 2D platformer rogue lite with procedural generation. Let’s see how it goes. A good idea is all it takes to get started. And although it isn’t a finished idea yet, it is enough to get started. So let’s see how it goes. I know mr scope creep is knocking on my door, but GMS2 makes it ez Bois. So let’s see how it goes (fingers crossed well). The key is to balance GDev on other stuff so the scope doesn’t burn you out. I’m not in too deep yet, and I’m trying not get attached to the game until my MVP gets positive reaction, so luckily restarting shouldn’t affect me too much yet, so time to make and test, before I’ve taken 6 months of my time making a game that might be a.) too big or b.) bad. A good sign is a retweet account retweeted my initial pitch so I’ve already gotten people interested in the idea.

  7. Ngl I would have quit gamedev if I'd released a game like Chicken Slapper that early in my carreer, since you just know it can only go downhill from there, and nothing will change that…
Except Chicken Slapper 2… fr though make it happen 🔫
