Can you please name your portals, for my OCD sakes? "Crypt Outpost", "Swamp Boss", "Main Base", things like that?
The raise ground tip last episode and the corner placement (13:48) on this are great! I almost returned to the game instead of going to sleep yesterday just to try the former, and the latter will come handy pretty soon! Now if only someone can solve the pillar underneath problem…
Do som supports under the platform. Set up some temporary stairs under the platform so you can put some 45' beams connecting to the tree.
4m core wood poles are useful for this
jesus man, your getting so many crypts. I litterally had a massive swamp and only one crypt. Traveled to another, fairly large swamp, only one fucking crypt and a fire spout thing. FML…. made an outpost near bonemass and I hope there are some there.
Another use I found for the Iron Sledge is finding leeches when I want to go into the water. They show up once they take damage, and flee. Much safer. Two star leech damage is no joke. They are excellent against blobs too, and you can use it's AoE to clear rooms on crypts before entering them or even clearing the path to them.
Wraiths are only in the night, and they provide chains. You get chains in crypts too, so no big deal. Chains are used to make the brazzers, which add to comfort level. Increased comfort increases the duration of the Rested bonus, and you don't even need to sleep too get it — 20 seconds getting the Resting bonus will grant the Rested bonus, or reset the timer to max again. On crypts, having a fireplace at the entrance let you get dried and get the Rested bonus reset if needed.
The trees in the swamp can actually provide protection against the rain, if you need to be dry for a while and have no roof.
I know you probably don't care but the correct pronounciation of Ymir would be something like eemir, its a lot closer to how the vikings would've said it. love your videos bro!

So you now have a hammer of the same making as the earth and if hammer strikes earth, they resonate and destroy all your enemies.
i built at edge of the swamp and it was on a a hill then dug down to bedrock and then i put up a 2 high stacked spiked wall all around compound. so those blobs and oozes can't jump over wall.

After defeating the boss you need to get potions to give you resistance to the cold and go up in the mountain sets the next area you go and the item he gives you also allows you to find the stuff underground anywhere there's ores everywhere in the world Underground

Dude the integrity iis simple. if your steps far from the tree and you put 2 or 3 small items from it it going to be red but if you put a longer item or beam in the tree your steps goin to be blue. so if you put a 4 m beam instead of 3 floor panel your steps is going to be good. the game is not calculate the integrity about the distance but calculate it the number of the items you use to get the thing as far as you want. and if your floor between the trees its looking bad just put a long beam under the floors and its going to be nice and green. probably u dont read this comment but i hope i helped u out a little bit 😀
I was so enjoying your Valentine's series a lot but this is a quick thing it was bothering me the sledgehammer does do frozen damage
There is a Swamp seed klw6PHmPNj you can log off your main seed and log onto the new seed and when you log off stand in front of an empty chest with just what you need for the trip, raid the tomb/crypt store every in a favorite chest there in the tomb/crypt while your raiding, than log off over loaded with and goodies to the new seed when your done, re-log onto the main seed and arrive in front of your empty chest. If your going to die log off, heal up and go back 🙂
I dunno if you are into mods – at the least grab the Equip slot mod it adds equip slots for potions and armor!
If u use beams from the trees and floors ontop u can build further out
Make a portal hub, you’ll save yourself so much trouble!
Build pillars coming out of the tree as braces and connect it to the base of your floor so if they do break out a floor all the structural integrity of the base isnt compromised

Hey Kage, you need to keep going up until you can't, then down a couple of levels, and you'll be there, presently, Bonemass will wreck your base, and it looks like a long walk home

Get some wood cores with you. Usually horizontal 4m poles are not of much use but u can use these here to make contact with the tree easily
Hello Kage! Great video. You’re going after Bonemass, you’re probably already there and I don’t know if somebody’s already told you this but, before you summon him, terraform the ground so it’s flat and you’re not swimming.
I've seen people use stone to attach to the tree and it creates a foundation that you can place wood floors to. Not sure how it works exactly, I haven't done it myself, but plan to 🙂 Other thing I've seem used is core wood beams. I've yet to try those either. Maybe I'll build myself a tree base tonight and test this stuff all out.
I would probably build up some dirt here and there between the tree's and water to keep the skeletons back enough were they don't agro on you if that is possible would take a lot of stone but I would atleast do it so I don't have to deal with leaches good job on the videos
He doesn't do it all the time, so hes just a partial cheater.
I did the iron teleport thing where you log out once in the beginning of our server, but me and the boys made a oath that we couldn't do it. We have been sailing our metals all across the world, takes time but adds the greatness of this game. We have mapped out whole continents and made ocean routes. I think it adds a lot to this game.
use the slanted beams to connect the tree to the foundations …can even use some of those cross beams you have as railings …that would help increase integrity
Small thing, but you can place the Adze (big chopping block) on the other side of the wall (outside) from the Work Bench. That way it is just out of your way and not in the middle of your room!
Try pairing portals. It seems overkill but it works all the time no mistakes.
they way you beat bonemass is shield and iron mace, potion resistance mead
block his hand attack, attack him 3-4 times with mace and step away
He will poison area and follow you, rinse and repeat
use core wood pillars off the tree, they are stronger
I would suggest using the 4m core wood poles to support your base from the bottom, or see if the building mechanics acknowledge the trees as solid objects and use 45 degree poles to connect your outer floors to the trees.
Hey kage, try putting a post at a 45deg. Angle and horizontal to the tree for the floor

tip: if you are pinching for space at this point you dont really need that cape (the next one wich is in the age of silver is op )
