I don't like map selection as I know for fact people gonna play one map and queue times for maps like split would be high since nobody wants to play it. Better idea is map rotation, just give different maps so we don't have to play one map like 3 times in a row

On the surface, this is just an amazing way to advertise a gun skin.
But I think there's more.. like Riot "reinvented" the concept of gun skins with the Elderflame, Riot might also be "reinventing" the concept of advertisement. (In a way Apple did.)
They are not only advertising the "product" itself but also what that "product" represents, a sense of power, a sense of being…RADIANT

I think the characters is the new agent, im going to give you my opinion. Theres a person who searching an energy that can help him to find something, and i think the energy is Radianite or Ion. The character search the radianite cuz he want to have a power to defend humanity. And he search the Energy in Ion factory that i think its the enemy of Kingdom. And thats it also i think theres a war between Ion and Kingdom
Maybe it will be like the kingdom collection they are part of the lore so maybe the ion collection will be a part of it too

My thoughts
-The gift: the radianite or some kind of new element similar to the radianite
-The light: a hint to the first light event (also related with radianite (whose name comes from the greek "radius" wich mean "ray"))
-The meele: the particle effect is quite similar to the same particle effects on Killjoy robots, which can be sign that those technological artifacts are connected (remember Killjoy worked for Kingdom for a very long time)
-The ruins: some kind of radianite experiment run by kingdom or another company wich went wrong but they accidentally created a new type of energy (the ion core)
-The place: can be a kingdom facillity, maybe the same facillity in Skye's trailer and card.

in my opinion invalorant unviverse there is a radiant war going on and ION is a anti-radiant weapon that gives normal ppl to fight radiant ppl evenly. Also there is a very low chance new map teased aswell.

Theres gotta be something special here….like something big, it wouldnt be so special if they didnt make a whole trailer to it unlike any other skins, plus they worked for it for a year there must a be planned story behind it before valorant is released. Im more into valorant lore than game itself but the game is also beautiful. π

i think the cinematic try to explain that someting went whrong in the past (ion core exploded) and then got rebuild .what we can see at 3.24 its the old one ,the new one is the one at 3.51.The timeline of the cinematic from my point of view is :3.18 -> 3.37 past, then 3.12 ->3.17 3.37 -> 3.56 present π
