How The Music In Star Wars Video Games Is Uniquely Different | Soundscape ft. Gordy Haab

Jimmy Wong sat down with Gordy Haab, the brains behind the music of Star Wars video games including Battlefront 2, Jedi Fallen Order, and most recently Star Wars Squadrons. In Soundscape we get to know composers who create the iconic soundtracks to our favorite games, learning about their process, but also who they are behind the scenes.

  1. Yesss we desperately need more score deep dives. Feels like sometimes the music in games is under appreciated. Glad to see composers getting some love and explaining the ideas behind what becomes nostalgia for us gamers

  2. Christopher Larkin who did Hollow Knight and is working on the sequel right now, Berlinist who wrote the music for GRIS, C418 or Lena Raine who did music for Minecraft, scntfc who did OXENFREE, Re-Logic did Terraria, Laura Shigihara did Plants vs Zombies, Tobias Lilja did Little Nightmares, Garett Coker did Ori, Tomek Kolczynski did FEIST, Yoann Laulan did Dead Cells.

Just a few suggestions from a video game music nerd ✌️
